there is a part of me that will be glad to leave all of this behind and start fresh somewhere entirely different. there is also a part of me that will miss some of the wonderful people this city holds who i simply haven't had enough time with. both of these, i think, are simply part of change ( Read more... )

Best of luck with the move ... I've done that a few times myself, and my fiancee made a move like that to be with me almost exactly a year ago. It's quite an adventure, and yeah, it can be a little scary.

i didn't even know that you were in Boston, let alone that you were moving across the country. This makes me sad. i'm sorry i've been so out of touch.

But if it's any consolation, i understand where you're coming from. i'm only moving a mile down the road, but i'm graduating from renter to property owner, and that's a bit unsettling. My advice, if you're looking for any, is to buy the cutest dog you can find. Then every time she pees on the carpet, you'll get over it quickly because she's just so damn cute. It makes it easier on your patience ;)
