yes.
you have to fill out the "application" (it's not accept/reject, though) just so we have an idea of who you are.

Request membership by joining the community.
LJ will send you an email when your membership is approved.
Then post the application into the community as an entry.

You can join, but you can't comment until you post in order to be fair to others. You're welcome to make a post that says you don't want to model, just commenting rights, and then put one picture of your face or whatever.
