I love poetry,..always have since I was a kid.Even tried my hand at writing afew poems.....sometimes I still do.
The following is one in a collection by Tersteegen, Suso and afew others which I found online a long time ago. This one brings to mind something of what I felt from this morning's communion service.

I too love the writings of these old saints of God. Thankyou for bringing this here this morning.
Am thankful too for Mrs Frances Bevan's translations of them.
From that same onLine source two of Tauler's are special to me - his 'My God', and 'In the Garden of God'.
In Suso's 'The Chase', two lines stood out for me >
" ... I stood in the way before thee,
In the ways thou wouldest have gone ..."
(John Wesley later wrote of the Lord's "prevenient Grace")
