My brother just had his wisdom teeth out, so I took him to see King Kong tonight. On the whole, I was rather disappointed in the movie: Jack Black was horribly miscast as the "serious" movie director (imagine if Jerry Lewis were cast a Citizen Kane :P), the movie was too long by an hour and they kept having these 20 minute long "emoting" segments

dang, i had no qualms about KK...i thought it rocked! you are a much harsher critic...it was def. more impressed with KK than Brokeback Mountain...
