It was my last day at work today and it was really slow, so we basically spent the whole time chatting. I got to keep my apron and hat however :P

I'm really excited to be heading back to school; I went out and bought a whole bunch of kitchen supplies that I can't wait to use! ^^

Also, I made these really awesome mint-chocolate brownies.

Sooo, it turns out that everyone else I work with hates their job as much as I do . . . this came as kind of a shock, because I'm so used to the forced-servility and pretend friendliness. The power went out at work just a little bit ago . . . all the customers were like: "what" and we gave out a bunch of free smoothie cards.

Also, for some reason people have an insanely hard time realizing that no power to the stoplight = a four way stop, as I witnessed about 5 near accidents on my way home :P
