Idahoan In New York

I was really excited to come here, really looking forward to all of it, even our fuel stop in Oshkosh, and after another one of my signature bad landings I was in tears for the entire evening. So yesterday basically sucked in a horrible way ( Read more... )

Wow what an intense couple of days for you! I am jealous of the good parts, not so much the food making you sick. You saw naked cowboy AND deflated but inflating again Al Roker. And the guy with the flat, well it looks like he could use the extra work out but dang someone should tell him :) Too funny!

Yeah, he is inflating faster than most pneumatic de-ice boots do.

my god girl, you've seen a whole ASS of new york in just a couple days. Isn't it fun to see the Concorde and revel in how small it is? And isn't the World Trade Center area spooky in a very appropriate way? And don't you just LOVE the architecture of Jeckyl and Hydes? (but don't go in, the food and drinks are way too expensive)
Did you go into Rockefeller Center and look around? Did you see the zoo at the south end of Central Park? Did you walk to the Guggenheim Museum?

Oh, and before I forget, you MUST go to Le Bonne Soup and have a bite to eat, a little French bistro directly across from the Shoreham Hotel just South of the Park. You must. It's that good.

Yes yes yes I do miss NYC.

Heheh. I love the horses in that city, though i feel really bad for them. pastures are for horses, not pavement.
