As I see it, if you love someone you give them all of you as with being in love, explain to us all the difference please?????

i love my dad but i am not in love with him. loving someone does not mean you have to be in love with them.

I knew someone would reply in that context, when I replied to that thought, I wasn't thinking of family and friends, I was just thinking on the general thought in itself, you are right, I should have put a little more thought into my reply, as I love my kids, but am not in love with them, that I get, however, I dont think that is what the original thought was intending, but I appreciate your reply. Thank you.
