i'm feverish.
He first spots her outside a convenience store by Home Plus. She sways, dazed, vacant eyes scanning the streets. Hair ruffled; makeup smudged.
She's a nuclear catastrophe.
She's an asterisk.
The plastic strappy heels threaten to slip out from under her feet (straps loose and unfastened,) as she teeters along the curb at a comatose rate. Her heels are cotton-candy-pink, her toes are bleeding; click. scuff. click. scuff. click. scuff.
Jaejoong follows her in his Audi, going 0 miles an hour as she ambles along. She stumbles and he almost rushes out of a (barely) moving vehicle to catch her. Maybe it's because she looks like his sister. Maybe, as Junsu says, it's because Jaejoong's hero-complex is the size of the moon.
But he thinks he can save her.
