This was made by shirozora. She has made chibi versions of several t.v. news pundits and a few political figures. (I have the most adorable icon of chibi!Rahm Emmanuel being hugged by a chibi!penguin.) Last Halloween, she did versions of all the chibis in Halloween costume. Chibi!Stephen T. Colbert, P.h.D! is obviously Captain America. Obviously. I mean who else would he be?!? and Chibi!Jon Stewart is Superman, because Jon is awesome. I love The Daily Show and The Colbert Report even though I'm not in the fandom; plus this is adorable!
This was made by thegivingbee. It's a gif from Watchmen the movie. Unlike most of the other comic book fans, I enjoyed the film; it wasn't remotely as good as the book, but it held up. The comic fans' anger came from cutting out stuff like Tales of the Black Freighter that gave another layer to the story; everybody else's anger came from all the trailers making it seem like a very different film. Um...back on point, I love Rorschach. He's twisted, wrong, and sociopathic, but at the end of the day, he's the only real hero. I love that. And I could write a whole book just on Rorschach so I'm going to leave it there.

Actually, I think it's alternate-future!stoned!Castiel, but alternate-future!stoned!Castiel is basically a more cynical Misha. Misha Collins is awesome. The real guy is silly and possibly insane, but he's also quite intelligent. And he uses his fandom for good. Well, mostly good. Misha asks that his fans give money to worthy causes rather than buy him presents; and he's currently running a marathon for charity. For more information on that, go to The Random Act. And one day, he's going to take over the world. At least, it'll be a nice dictatorship with unicorns and rainbows, right?

(Amanda Palmer Performs The Popular Hits Of Radiohead On Her Magical Ukulele) You know someone is good when they manage to make you cry by playing a ukulele and singing while hungover. She's also the female half of The Dresden Dolls and EvelynEvelyn.
