The Brain That Wouldn't Die is a very good MS3K episode. It's a horrible movie.

Bill has been performing bizarre experimental surgeries on human subjects without permission. As a result, he's created some sort of horrible monster that lives in a closet. After an accident decapitates his fiancee, Jan, he decides to keep her brain alive. Now that he has Jan alive, Bill decides she needs a body and turns to a glamour model with a disfigured face. Jan in the Pan hates being alive, though, so she reaches out to the monster in the closet and kills everybody, including herself.

This film is hilarious. Jan in the Pan is so over-the-top. Partially because she's occasionally being dubbed. (The actress refused to return for ADR. So they grabbed whatever actress they could find and had her do it.) The film's actually really sloppy. The ending title is different from the beginning title for example. At one point, someone says, "Here's our five finalists!" and four women walk out. Lots of blatant things like that.

Honestly, the film is really an excuse to see attractive women in very little clothing while Bill looks for someone to be Jan in the Pan's body. At least this film's blatant with it.

I recommend the MST3K version as it has some very good laughs and is the introduction of Mike Nelson.
