tipsy gardener fears the frost!

We got there around 5:30, I think, and left probably around the same time you did. I guess we just missed each other. :P

I had a quartino of the Santa Christina Sangiovese-Merlot, and then a glass of the Clos de Bois (or something like that) Merlot. We really like that Sangiovese - it actually tastes grapey. The merlot was really good too - it tasted very vanilla-y. Yum!

She did convey the message. Thank you for sending it! I was totally not paying much attention to the temperature on the weather reports. I check daily to see when it will rain, but the fact that it was going to freeze probably would've slipped right past me without your warning!

I remembered to to pull the sheet off the little dudes this morning. So far, they still look happy and green.

Do you have a patio that you can grow container veggies on? I found a really cool book about container gardening. I think the veggies-in-pots look really cool. :) But we tilled up such a large section of yard this year that there's really no need for me to put veggies in containers. Eh, we'll see. :P

well our deck is pretty small, but i think we could have some things. i'm considering some herbs and what not. my main concern is that the privacy walls on the ends of each of the decks of the townhouses effectively keeps our deck in shade probably 90% of the day.

i'm glad i could do some good :)
