My latest favorite inexpensive incarnation of the Random Flower Movement:

The Random Card MovementI got a pack of pinochle cards (because I like having more face cards and fewer 3s and 4s, but this is an arbitrary preference of mine) and used an ultra fine point sharpie to write one message on the face of each card. I made them all unique, using ( Read more... )

Ha! I wasn't defining it, per se - just typing up what the side of the marker says. I'm not sure what standard Sharpie uses. ;)

Thanks! It's easy, inexpensive, and something that can be done -anywhere-, which is what appeals to me! Plus, cards are sturdy enough that they can be left places and endure a fair amount of (unintentional) abuse without losing their structural integrity. And there's something that feels more magical to me about finding a card with a message on it than just finding some random scrap of paper with a message.
