Resident Evil 5
I'm pretty excited about Resident Evil 5. I was a big fan of the old style of Resident Evil even though the controls were a bit awkward, but I thought the style of Resident Evil 4 was a big improvement to the series. I liked the more action oriented style and seeing Resident Evil 5 take that style makes me happy. I'm hoping that Resident Evil 5 makes Chris suitably badass, because though I like Leon Chris has got to be cooler then him. I'm guessing because Chris has bulked up a lot in the new game he's going to be a bit less agile then Leon was in RE4, but capable of greater feats of strength. The new partner character looks cool and attractive, and some of the stuff she can do looks pretty badass. I still hope we get to see Jill show up somehow, because Jill was my favorite.
I've been in a bit of an Avatar mood lately, so that mixed in with Resident Evil makes for fun times in my brain. Team Avatar as S.T.A.R.S. members! Team Azula as Umbrella employees! Aang, Sokka, Katara and Toph would look cool in cop outfits. Azula's prodigy-ness makes her a good match for the standard Umbrella mad scientist. Zuko could be an Umbrella executive undergoing second thoughts about his job. Mai and Ty Lee can be Umbrella special forces operatives of some kind, mostly just because the idea of Mai and Ty Lee in full tactical gear is awesome.
