"A perfect vision, some simple ways to let you know" - QotSA

Neil Gaiman is my hero.

Now, this entry was supposed to be dedicated to music, so the rest of it will be.

First, some lyrics by our good friends Queens Of The Stone Age, from their song "Avon":
I see you go
Through a park in a haze
I don't listen
For traffic going the same way
A simple system
I string 'em up
I cut 'em down
Dare I say

A perfect vision
Some simple ways to let you know
Free range humans
All cooped up, naked clone
Is playing lame
I string 'em up
I cut 'em down
Dare I say

Now more to the point. After making Coz a Stereophonics mix, I decided that I am going to make band mixes - mixes from all one band. Anyone who wants these mixes are welcome to them. The ones I have listed out right now are Stereophonics and Queens Of The Stone Age. I also have readily available (as in on my computer) enough for:
Ben Folds (Five), Coldplay, Collective Soul, Cranberries, The Eels, Embrace, Evanescence, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Green Day, Guster, Hoobastank, Incubus, Jump (Little Children), Keane, Lacuna Coil, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Silverchair, Staind, Starsailor, STP, System of a Down, Tori Amos, and Travis.
Here is the Stereophonics mix:

1. A Thousand Trees
2. Half The Lies You Tell Ain't True
3. The Bartender And The Thief
4. Superman
5. I'm Alright
6. Maybe
7. Rewind
8. I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio
9. Rainbows And Pots Of Gold
10. Climbing The Wall
11. Mr. Writer
12. Maybe Tomorrow
13. Nice To Be Out
14. More Life In A Tramp's Vest
15. Dakota
16. Since I Told You It's Over
17. Handbags And Gladrags
18. A Minute Longer
19. Traffic

And here's the Queens Of The Stone Age:

1. Infinity
2. Autopilot
3. Better Living Through Chemistry
4. The Sky Is Fallin'
5. Monsters In The Parasol
6. Little Sister
7. The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret
8. Gonna Leave You
9. Tangled Up In Plaid
10. Do It Again
11. Burn The Witch
12. You Can't Quit Me Baby
13. Go With The Flow
14. Everybody's Gonna Be Happy
15. No One Knows
16. I Never Came
17. All The Same
18. Avon
19. In My Head

I am tempted to make a second disc to this, as songs like "First It Giveth", "Everybody Knows That You're Insane", "Born To Hula", "Never Say Never", and "Long Slow Goodbye" were really hard to leave off. But most of the hits and great stuff is here so the other disc, while great, probably wouldn't be quite as memorable.

So if anyone wants a mix, let me know and I will get as much as I done today and tomorrow before I trek back to Drew for SNOW PATROL!! Can't believe it...sooo excited. :D Peace!

mixes, music
