I have a short day on Thursdays, which I thought I'd use this week to restart a project I started ages ago: cleaning up and dressing up the entryway from the garage/landing going down to the cellar.  My goal this weekend was to get as much done as possible short of replacing the floor, which needs to be done and for which I've had the materials for
