We arrived at the surgery office right on time yesterday morning.  I checked in at the desk, and I'd barely found a place to sit when the door opened and the nurse, Christine, ushered me in.  She explained everything really well, had me sign some papers, then directed me to change into the hospital gown.  When she came back, she put an IV shunt in ( Read more... )

I've been a bit absent so I read up and I am glad to hear you are ok! and that it went relatively well.

Thank you. No pain, only it takes a while for your digestive system to return to normal. Eh, no biggie. I was just so glad it was over and the doctor and his staff were so much NOT like the last guy!

Thank you. You know, it's amazing to me how many people are apprehensive about it, even after they've had one and know what to expect. It wouldn't even occur to me not to have one done.
