AAAARGH!

....And my computer might have caught a virus. It's that stupid Vista thing. I knew something was off when it popped up because I do not have anything close to that virus program on my computer. So I immediately opened my anitvirus and started a scan. I am going to try and make sure everything is backed up in some way. I'm getting really tired to ( Read more... )

I'm afraid that's the typical Windows issue, users get viruses without even knowing why and where; mostly it's Windows creating virus so that you're forced to buy their latest antivirus - but anyway it's usually nothing lethal, just make sure you've got a back up and I'm sure everything will be solved!

Yeah, Windows is a pain when it comes to viruses. At least this time I ended up not losing anything. We found a malware program that managed to get rid of it and I installed a noscript on my browser. Hopefully that helps.

That seriously sucks... I mean, it was the same thing, it started like that and because I'm dumb, it gor screwed up and I needed to erase everything >>. Oh well.

Yep! Malware Bytes eventually removed the virus, and I installed Noscripts to hopefully keep viruses out.
