this is totally unrelated to this post which i apologize for, but there's this song by Aimee Mann called Today's the Day that I absolutely love! Is the album it's on any good?

the album Lost in Space is amazing!! it might be my favorite album ever. I will send it out at somepoint.

i have some severe Ani fans on my friends list...

I'm not an Ani fan, but I do think the quote is awesome.

Yeah. The new Ani album didn't hit me as hard as some of her older ones have. It's heartfelt and witty and Ani, but it's not tops in my list of best albums by her.

My all time fav album of hers is Puddle Dive so yeah I can honestly say I miss her older stuff.

Plus I love that she's so articulate in conversation, in interviews, not just in lyrics, on well thought out paper, ink and guitar riffs.

I actually don't have Puddle Dive.. and I haven't listened to the old albums in so long.. so I can't judge.

My favorite lyricists are Aimee, Tori, and PJ. Ani is definitely a better lyricist than.. Kate Bush, Liz Phair, Dar Williams, etc. and definitely Cat Power. why is Cat Power famous again? lol..
