    Not only is this the title to my post final episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, but it's also how my heart feels about my son starting kindergarten tomorrow morning. I have tried my best to be excited for him and to make sure he knows it'll be fun but my stomach hurts and my heart just won't stop aching. Jacob is my side kick. He's Robin

Talking to him yest after school was so awesome. I know how you are feeling and those feelings you will feel forever, just on diff levels in diff situations. I did pray for yall, everybody. Yall were on my mind so much the night before and yest morning. I watched the clock all day. It broke my heart talking to Amanda that morn, I remember that day for us like it was yesterday. He is the most awesome kid, save something for my refrig!!!! I want ARTWORK!

Amen to all of that brother...my boy is my "little buddy" too so I can relate to where you're coming from. You seem like a really good dad so I really doubt you have much to worry about as far as him not wanting anything to do with you. As far as the teenage years, well I think we all might be in for a little of that, but overall, I think he'll come to appreciate you and respect you and love you that much more when he's an adult an all of this and your time and love and sacrifice is able to come into perspective for him...at least that's how I feel. Keep on keepin on man...you're doing a good job!
