How I spent my 2 days off this week

A storm caused a tree to fall @ 4am Monday at the Foster St. end of our block. The tree fell onto electric lines, taking out 2 poles, blacking out the neighborhood and snapping the lines from a transformer in front of the house where Kit's staying, near the Skyway end of our block, with an incredible thundering, crackling explosion. Bloody hell, that sounds like a trial.

How'd Gammy handle all the unexpected company?

Though Kit (and Deven) can do no wrong in Gammy's eyes, she does have a hard time with extended stays - mainly because a) she thinks no one knows her teeth are false, b) she has occasional problems with urinary continence, and c) other people's clutter can trigger an anxiety attack.

She thrives on drama though, so falling trees, the black-out and a harmless house fire made the situation quite tolerable for her. The worst part was that she missed 2 days of Judge Joe Brown, Nancy Grace and etc.
