As crowded and occassionally inconvenient as things may get around the house with Kit and Julie moved in, I think that you will likely find the fact that Julie is doing the cooking will be a great relief to you. You have some long, busy days. This will do well to give you a little more relaxed a pace, I'd say.

Yes...well it will, but my mom will start nit-picking probably within a week, which is a shovel-full of stress for me. She'll lay it me privately for a while, then she'll get louder. I'll fret over her complaints and then that plus Kit and Julie's feelings. I'll be in a purgatory where I'm reminding the kids that Gammy is not really herself, and reminding mom we're helping the kids and it is only temporary. I wish I could just let this kind of crap roll off my back, but when it comes to kids and mom, nonchalance goes out the window.

Mom's a heavy load. I fear she could distance my kids and grandkids from me (if she hasn't already). Real fear.
