i just found out the new store GM opening in streamwood is open to RM's.

do you know what this means???!?!?

i could be the first RM to open a new store!!!

an RM is a Restaurant Manager. After becoming a 'manager,' you begin working on the RM promotion. for some, it takes a long time to finish, if they ever do. there is a lot of work involved. but you get a raise, and are then eligible to apply for open general manager (GM) spots. only existing GM's can apply for a new store bc they have already proven themselves worthy, and usually, it takes a long time to even be considered for that.

well, no GM applied for the streamwood store, so now they opened application to RM's. opening a new store is super scary (or so ive heard), but im crazy. plus id rather start things off the way i want them, than go into an old store and try to change habits... so i just sent my 'letter of interest' which i spent all day on, and its totally cheesy (... "i will bring the passion for what i do"...) but im totally serious!

so yeah, wish me luck!
