I always like your stuff on thehighstreet! It's hard to post on LJ until you get into a habit of it, I find - otherwise there's always so much you can or can't say.

aww thanks! i know in reality i (kind of) dont/shouldn't care what people think but it still bothers me, particularly if its about being fat!

im considering updating again now but am in the same dilemma!

Don't let that stop you posting on the Highstreet! I always find your posts interesting (unlike the whole host of blurry mobile phone camera photo posts featuring some Primark knickers on a bed..)

I keep meaning to do a post myself but I always end up just wasting time on facebook/myspace/flickr.. as a side note just found out via Fb that this boy i dated is now a grave digger....! I realise that makes me sound snobby but erm. lucky escape.

oh god i hate some of the posters on the highstreet (makes me sound snobby now!) ive got better at sifting through and ignoring the crap posts now as i used to force myself to look at every one just in case i was missing something amazing behind the cut, oh dear!

I don't post cause I'm scared people will think I'm fat-I once said in a comment on there that I used to be 5ft11 and 7stone, one of them said 'Oh my god that's amazing, how did you get like that?' and I told them I was ill with ME, that shut them up!!

It's annoying, I just use it to see what is in the shops, rather than bother with the people on there. Places like that seem to attract negative and egotistical people, similar to ontd, so I just ignore the people and enjoy the content. I would like to show things I buy, but I'm older, fatter, iller and have a lot more financial responsability than most of the people on there, so yeah, I avoid i doing so.
