Following the trend of Ross-kun and the suggestions of many people who are apparently too lazy to look at my photos page (tools!), I've decided to begin detailing a few of my own ridiculous adventures, using the almighty

As I mentioned, we celebrated the glorious independence day of The Gambia. This involved making a flag, dressing "African" (the best we could do was cargo pants, a military shirt and a soccer jersey on top of some "ethnic" hats [as Scott puts it] from XinJiang), running in celebration and looking triumphant. Also, yelling Freedom at the top of our lungs when the spirit moved in our hearts. And as a direct result of the latter of these, dodging the Chinese snipers.

Conquest!

Here you see Scott also in the X-TACY of conquest and freedon

And lastly you can see my moment of final glory.

as a final anecdote, on the bus today some people were talking about how weird we are, when one of them said "Don't talk about them in Putonghua! They can understand! Use Yibinhua!" Wow, it's like they learned something! Learning denotes intelligence!
Good lord.
