Sort of agree. But only if you're following them and excluding doing anything else. However, if you follow your passions but are always looking to try something else - to try something new - then no, it's not slavery, it's freedom.
Passionnnn - make it HOTtethranMay 3 2006, 05:13:53 UTC
I don't know if we can go through life, living to the best of our ability, without focusing on fulfilling our passions. There seems an inherent pull toward being consumed by our passion(s). I, personally, used to have a lot of passion. Perhaps I was a slave. But I was a content and fulfilled slave. Now I no longer can recognize my own passion and thus may be 'free'. But now I feel that I am not moving toward a direction of completeness. Everyone just wants to be filled by something... but perhaps it is unattainable. Passion is so important, that's all I know. Gah. I just want to be lit on fire. Absolutely aflame by something. I think I'm too lazy to actually move towards passion of sorts. Who wants freedom when you can be bound and comfortable and whole? Blah. I don't know what I'm talking about any more. I know that evolution and working toward a goal (passion in this case) is more valuable than being complacent with weak secondary whatever. It is hard to be a slave to your own passion but I don't think there is

Your layout is pretty. ^^ I like it. But I agree with Tethran. It's slavery if you ONLY do what you want, because you're not willing to try anything new, but it's slavery not to do anything you want at all, because then you're just molding yourself to the whims of other people.
Me likes the layout^^(I must admit I was stuck the first 6 seconds clicking "Entries" over and over because I wouldn't see them below, heh ^^;;;). I agree with the stated above.
