I agree, I really like the second one...I don't exactly see where the confusion is, but you know most people write poety reflecting themselves, so maybe they thought the Cliffs were a part of you that was in hiding or something like that.
Just a thought.

Very, good. You do not dissapoint. While I agree "Obsidian Cliffs at Noon" is probably the strongest of the three, I think "The Boxer" is really, really good as well. It reminds me of that painting by George Bellows "Stag at Sharkey's" at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
