If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

I suppose here is where I should propose what the world needs now is love, sweet love, etc. I have to admit that I think it’s highly unrealistic because it's within our nature to war against each other whether it be between nations or between neighbors. If I could change one thing about the world I would make it so that everyone could get a good education. If a good education were easier to attain society would be better off as a whole. Classes and curriculum would have to be designed around the needs of each society. I also think that students should be taught in the way in which they learn best. There are some very smart people who do badly in school because the class is taught in ways that they respond poorly to.

What makes a person respectable?

I truly admire people who stand up for what they believe in no matter what the world thinks. I can’t respect anyone who buckles when the pressure is on. They also need to be able to admit when they’re wrong. Someone who respects others and doesn’t put others down. They don’t always have to be cheerful and upbeat, but they do need to have self control. I admire people who don't let circumstances hold them back. I think it’s wrong to use your upbringing as an excuse to give up.

What do you look for in a friend?

Intelligence and a good sense of humor. Someone talkative, outgoing, and perhaps just a bit theatrical like myself. Someone I can laugh with, and someone I can be myself with. Someone who will help me when I need it even if I don't speak up about needing their help. Good intelligent conversation is a must. I hate having to constantly draw answers out of a shy person. A good conversation flows free and easily and it's always interesting. ;) I can't stand when people are too insecure and/or too pleasing to disagree with me. If you have an opinion just say it. Stand up and just be yourself.

What are your hobbies?

Writing is my passion. I am an aspiring writer. I love creating new worlds, complex characters, and throwing them into different situations. I enjoy journaling obviously. ;) I think it takes a bit of narcissism to really stick with it which I freely admit to. I love making icons and layouts for LJ. I like taking a picture and putting my own creative spin on it. I love art in all of it's forms. I love reading and I love movies.

Have or would you give time and money to a charity?

I would give money but not time. Giving time is just too hands on for me. I'd rather just give money and be done with it. Only I'm very careful about which charities I donate to. I want to make sure my money is really going towards the cause.

What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?

I want to be a published author one day. I’d like to make my mark in the world. I want to be able to look back in pride at what I’ve accomplished. I think it would be awful to look back and see that you spent your life working in a glue factory and never took any chances for a better life. Sometimes life can be intimidating, but you need to step up to the plate and swing with all your strength.

Who is your role model?

I can’t say that I have just one. I admire certain things about certain people. I guess if I had to choose I would choose Liv Tyler. I admire her sense of individuality. She’s not out to be the biggest star or make the most money. She chooses roles that appeal to her artistically. She’s always beautiful and gracious. She’s also a good role model in the sense that she refuses to starve herself to conform to Hollywood’s standards. She eats right and exercises, but lives in a very realistic way. She loves herself and accepts her body the way it is instead of resorting to plastic surgery or crash diets.

What trait most annoys you about other people?

When people are fake. I hate that. People who are too sugary and falsely sweet. Sometimes a desire to please others causes people to develop this very fake happy happy joy joy attitude. Being cheerful is not bad at all, but I hate when people put up a façade of overt pleasantness and never let their real self show.

What do you want to do for a living?

Well, like I explained above I want to be a published author. I’m particularly drawn towards writing young adult fiction. I love fantasy stories and adventure stories with a supernatural twist. I’d love to be able to support myself with my writing. I wouldn’t mind working a day job to pay the bills until that happens though as long as I can work someplace where I’m surrounded by creativity or creative people. Like maybe an art gallery or animation studio.

If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?

I would do what I can to defend my friend. I honestly don’t think I could just stand idly by if one of my friends was being attacked. I’d try and find a way to fend off the attacker. Maybe throw something at them, hit them over the head, or if I were in a situation where I could use magic I‘d try a disarming spell or a spell to stun them. Then when an opportunity presented itself I’d grab my friend’s hand and run to safety.

Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?

No, I don’t think so. A truly intelligent person would find another way to deal with their enemies. Plus you have to really mean an unforgivable curse and I’m afraid I just lack the cruelty to truly mean it especially Crucio or Avada Kedavra.

What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?

1. I have a good sense of humor. I think I’m fun to be around. I love to laugh and see the humor in every situation.

2. I’m an individual. I really don’t care what people think about me. I am what I am and I don’t need anyone’s approval.

3. I’m a good writer. I love it. I just can’t NOT write. It’s what I do. It’s my driving force.

4. I’m a good listener. Sometimes people just need to talk and get things off their chest. I’m pretty good at giving advice too.

5. I’m a pretty clever girl. I pick up on things quickly and/or develop my own more efficient way of doing it. I’m good at solving problems.

What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?

1. Procrastination is my worst fault. I often neglect my duties in order to pursue my own interests.

2. I’m very stubborn. If I want to do something my way I’ll do it my way regardless of what anyone else says.

3. I tend to over analyze things. I’ll drive myself crazy by just picking something apart, but I have a hard time letting go.

4. Okay, well, I have to admit that I’m rather opinionated. I’ve learned to keep it to myself more often than not. Sometimes it’s hard to resist getting into someone’s face about something I’m passionate about though.

5. I can be very competitive. About everything. And I always have to have the last word.

Define in your own words the following key traits:

Courage: Courage is standing up for what you believe in no matter what. It’s facing your fears and pushing on regardless.

Loyalty: Not betraying the confidence of those around you.

Intelligence: Intelligence is using knowledge wisely and having enough humility to know that you’re never too smart to learn something new.

Ambition: Striving to be the best in everything that you do.
