and finally after two days at the stroke of midnight, she was done...

I double spell-checked this sucker, but I'm not making any promises...

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
My first instinct would be to say I want there to be world peace and for everyone to get along, but the truth of the matter is that because everyone is different - feels different things, believes different things, has different opinions - there will always be conflict. Instead I would want to get rid of all the hypocrisy in the world. I hate how some people feel that it is right to make others feel lower than grit for doing the same things that they themselves are doing. I think the removal of this human characteristic would make things a little bit better in the world.

What makes a person respectable?
I tend to respect people who give their respect openly and evenly to everyone; they never take into consideration others "status" or even whether others are "worthy" of their respect. I also respect people who have personality traits that I admire or wish that I could have myself (for example: people with confidence, people with individuality, ect.). At the same time, I do not find people respectable who are ignorant and constantly talk about things they know nothing about. It's ok to be ignorant, that just means there are some things that you do know, and everyone is ignorant about something. But when you're to proud to admit that you don't know something (or think that you know everything) and you mouth off about things, that is unacceptable.

What do you look for in a friend?
Most of the time, I look for personality traits in friends that I don't have myself and wish that I did have. For example, I care extremely too much about what other people think of me - especially strangers. I'm a people pleaser and I usually deny myself the things I want to be acceptable to others. My best friend, while she doesn't want to be a horror to be around, is proud to be herself. She dresses any way she wants and says whatever she wants, and for the most part is free of others inhibitions. There are some common factors of course that I look for in a friend; someone who is loyal, has values and dreams, and someone who is for lack of a better word - different.

What are your hobbies?
I've recently rediscovered my passion for writing. As of yet I've never finished a story and it usually takes me forever and an eternity to get inspiration, but I still love the process. I'm also a HUGE internet junkie; according to my mom, I have an addiction. I spend most of my time surfing other peoples blogs and making graphics for my various journals. I also enjoy reading. It usually depends on the book, but if I find one that I like I've been known to spend hours at a time reading. Sadly I don't have many hobbies that actually involve other people or me leaving the house :).

Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
I have never given money to a charity, but a few years ago I went on some mission trips with my old church's youth group. The first trip, we went to Atlanta, Georgia and did small projects like working at a daycare and cleaning an old man's yard because he couldn't do so himself. The second trip, we went to Tennessee and worked on this old woman's house rebuilding it and such. I do like giving time to charity, but I unsure about giving money. You never really know if you 60 cents a day is going to the hungry child in Africa, or into the pocket of some money grubbing con artist. I've never been very trusting of people that way.

What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
I really want to get into a good college, find a career that I'm happy in, and establish myself proving to people that I can take care of myself. My parents think that I'm lazy and that I will have trouble when the time comes to go out on my own. While I do admit that I'm lazy, I want to prove to them that I can take care of myself without any help from anyone.

Who is your role model?
As corny as this may seem, my role model is Buffy from the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The main reason I look up to her (fictional character she may be) is because of her strength. No one who has watched the show can deny that she's put through a lot of bad things, but at the same time she is able to pull herself through those things and be strong for herself and for those around her. At the same time, she is this dainty little girl who is able to stand up to these uber scary monsters (I mean that's the whole premise to the show). She by nature defies all the stereotypes of girls like her. Plus I would love to have the literal kick ass skills she has :).

What trait most annoys you about other people?
For the most part people in general and human nature annoy me on a daily basis. More specifically, people with no common sense annoy me. Some people just don't get it. There is nothing more I can say without possibly offending people (and I really don't mean too). I'll just leave it at that.

What do you want to do for a living?
For the most part I am a full time highschool student, but during the summer and in the afternoons I work as a cashier at Eckerd. Do you know what my hell is like? It's standing for 5 hours or more at a time staring into space while every now and again checking out an old lady who gets snippy when her year old coupons don't work.

If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
I would do everything in my power to save them. You have to take in consideration that I'm a complete spaz and when afraid tend to freeze up, but I would still do anything to save them even risking my own life for them. I probably wouldn't seek revenge - I brood more than take action-, but instead make sure that my friend was safe.

Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
Only in a last option scenario, and it would only be to save someone I loved. It would take heavy consideration, and I would have to make sure that I knew and accepted the consequences of my actions. I think that there are always other options to consider before hurting or killing someone, whether they are evil or not.

What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
1) I'm a very loyal to the people whom I love. I would do anything for my friends and family, and would sacrifice everything I had to make sure that they were happy.
2) I have a very open mind about things. I try not to judge things to quickly because they are different, but instead take in all the information I can about whatever it is and then form an opinion.
3) I value my intelligence. I think that in this day in age there is no excuse to be uninformed.
4) I'm a perfectionist. Sometimes it's a bad thing, but most of the time I consider it to be a good thing.
5) I think I have a good humor about things. I'm able to laugh at anything even myself.

What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
1) I'm incredibly insecure. I have little to no self-esteem.
2) I give up a little too easily. Whenever I get frustrated, I get angry and just give up all together.
3) I'm very very lazy. I've been known to sleep 12+ hours at a time
4) I babble way to much. My dad would use the phrase, "You ask her what time it is and she'll tell you how the watch was made" to describe me :)
5) I'm a people pleasure. I hate being so pleasing to everyone all the time

Define in your own words the following key traits:
I used some quotes, cause sometimes with the expressing of points I'm not so good...

Courage: “...courage is not the absence of despair; it is, rather, the capacity to move ahead in spite of despair.” -Rollo May
I think that courage is when someone knows what they have to do and they do it without faltering. Whether it be standing up for something or someone, they do it without consideration for themselves.

Loyalty: "Loyalty cannot be blueprinted. It cannot be produced on an assembly line. In fact, it cannot be manufactured at all, for its origin is the human heart-the center of self-respect and human dignity. It is a force which leaps into being only when conditions are exactly right for it-and it is a force very sensitive to betrayal." - Maurice R. Franks
Loyalty is something that can't be defined really. It's a personal thing that you find yourself defining when it is tested. To me loyalty is sticking by those you love, whether they are in the right or wrong, because you know that they need you and your support. Loyalty also means that even the consideration of betrayal is out of the question for me as well.

Intelligence: "I've always felt that a person's intelligence is directly reflected by the number of conflicting points of view he can entertain simultaneously on the same topic." -Abigail Adams
I think that anyone would admit that Intelligence is how smart you are. However I also think that Intelligence is being able to have many educated opinions, but at the same time being open enough to others opinions and to even changing yours.

Ambition: "Ambition! powerful source of good and ill!" -Edward Young
I think Ambition is the fire inside us that fuels our dreams and the will to achieve them. It's also kind of like "the force" (sorry I could only think of a star wars analogy *nerd*), it can be a really good thing and at the same time taken to a dark place. You have to know how to control it and when ambition turns into just plain meanness.

Name: Jade
Age: 16
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? Slytherin. Not because I don't like Slytherin, I actually wish I could be in Slytherin. They emit like this uber coolness and ooze of sex appeal. I'm just too much of a spaz to fit in with them.
Where did you find out about us? Surfing around cleolinda's journal. she's of Ravenclaw I do believe.
