If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Poverty. The fact that there are so many who are so destitute, while there are a few that have more money they could hope to spend in a lifetime is something that bothers me greatly. I can’t abide the thought of defenseless children dying because their parents can’t afford food, and if I had the power to change it I would.
What makes a person respectable? I think the main thing is if they have respect for others, their opinions and the way they want to live their lives. The rest just makes them individual.
What do you look for in a friend? Above all constant friendship, I don’t like people who are your friend only when it’s convenient for them, or when you can do something for them. Friendship is a two way street, and I only have time in my life for those who respect that. I also like my friends to be individuals, have a sense of humour and give good hugs
What are your hobbies? Singing (though that’s not so much a hobby as a way of life! ) Going to the movies. Don’t have time for much else!
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? Absolutely on both counts. I’ve sung in, and organised a few charity concerts over the past few years. I give what I can when I can, but on my budget it’s not as much as I’d like to give.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? To run a successful opera company that promotes and develops young talent and makes opera accessible to everyone. No let me rephrase, that makes opera popular in the mainstream. Opera is accessible, it’s just perceived to be elitist. *steps down off soapbox*
Who is your role model? As a singer, Cecilia Bartoli, as she is a goddess. In general, Sue Nattress who has done so much to organise and promote the arts. She saved the Adelaide Festival from disaster, and is passionate about what she does.
What trait most annoys you about other people? Selfishness and cruelty. Stupidity and ignorance can be remedied, but if people are selfish and cruel towards their fellow human beings, there’s not much to be done, and it drives me mad.
What do you want to do for a living? Anything involved in the arts industry, whether it be running concerts, singing in them or doing anything I can to make sure that the arts is an integral part of society.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? Do whatever it takes to help myself, and if I couldn’t do anything, run for help.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? I pray that I’m never in the situation to use one, but if I thought it was absolutely the only way to save myself or those I love, then yes.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? 1. Friendship and loyalty - I make a great friend, I also give great hugs
2. Diplomacy - I know when to keep my mouth shut, when to voice an opinion, and can get most people to do what I want, when I want it. (Thankfully I use my powers for good ;)
3. Musical Ability - it’s been said I have a great voice, and I do, when I’m practicing a little more than I am at the moment lol
4.  Great cook - I'm a good Italian girl at heart, and make a mean canneloni
5. Passion - I have a great passion for life and art that sometimes consumes me.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? 1. Low self esteem - it’s a habit of a lifetime and it’s hard to break
2. procrastination - I had a jumper that said "diploma in procrastination" I think i've now achieved my masters.
3. Self sacrificing - I know some people see this as a good trait, and it is in moderation, but I often put others above myself to my own detriment.
4. Emotional - My emotions often get the better of me.
5.  Temper - When I'm steamed, i'm really steamed and i say things that should never be said. Thankfully I don't often let this get the better of me.
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: It’s not just about facing danger with self confidence, but facing the things that truly frighten you everyday in order to overcome them.
Loyalty: Being steadfast to whom or what you believe in, no matter what may present itself.
Intelligence: This is so hard to define! I think it's partly the ability to comprehend things and debate and reason on any given subject and use this to solve problems But there is also emotional and social intelligence; knowing the consequences of your actions.
