Ok, I elaborated!
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? I think a lot of things would improve dramatically if people would just have more respect for each other. It would make things much more pleasant. Also if people would think before they took action, that might actually be even more helpful. People do a lot of stupid things because they didn't think first.
What makes a person respectable? Two main qualities that make a person respectable are:
a) Constantly striving for their personal best
b) Dependability. If a person always keeps their promises, they show themselves worthy of respect.
What do you look for in a friend? Common interests or goals are obviously good qualities in a friend. Traits that I look for include kindness, honesty, loyalty, and a sense of humor. The main points of friendship are companionship, having someone you can depend on, and someone to have a good time with.
What are your hobbies? Reading has been my main hobby ever since I learned how. Books have been my most constant companions over the years. Other hobbies include playing with Photoshop, fandom (particularly Star Trek, besides HP), and general internet usage.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? I haven't, but it's definitely something I'd like to do when I'm no longer having to spend basically my whole check as soon as I get it and I'm not dependent on my parents for transportation. So basically when I'm more independent and established.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? I would like to live a life where I stay true to my religion, my morals, always continue to learn and always try my best in everything I do.
Who is your role model? My role models are mostly fictional, actually. They consist almost entirely of characters who are known for their strength of character and intellectual prowess. Spock, Doc Brown, and of course Hermione Granger immediately come to mind.
What trait most annoys you about other people? Cruelty. There is just no excuse for it, and it makes me angry. I don't understand how anyone could be deliberately mean to someone. It's just twisted.
***I've thought about this one and I think if we're talking about things that ANNOY me, people who do stupid things because they didn't think is really more of an annoyance. Anger is on a different level.
What do you want to do for a living? I want to be an English teacher. English has always been my favorite class (after drama), and I've always enjoyed correcting people's spelling and grammar. I'd like to teach high school so I can help the people in that age group understand the value of reading. There was a terrible lack of interest by the majority of the students when I was in high school, and I would like to find ways to make classes more engaging.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? I would try to see what the best way to help them would be, but I would sill rush to their defense even if it was dangerous or logic told me it would be useless.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? I can't think of any situation in which the Cruciatus or Imperius Curses could be excusable. With the Killing Curse, there's the scenario where you or someone you care about is about to be murdered and you have to save them somehow, but of course any other means of stopping the attacker would be preferable.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
***I didn't want to put "intelligent" here because I have a tendency toward modesty (this is a bad example of that), but I've asked my friends this question and they all listed intelligence among my top qualities. It's definitely one of the things I value most about myself.
Kind: I usually go out of my way to avoid hurting people's feelings, and I am never ever deliberately mean.
Loyal: I can always be counted on to stick by my friends.
Honest: Honesty is a quality that I value very highly, and I always strive for it.
A good friend: Any of my friends would agree to this one, and they would probably list the three qualities above as part of their explanation if you asked them why.
Good at English: This one's pretty self-explanatory. It's just always been one of my strengths. Reading is one of my favorite things. I'll walk into a library or book store and sort of breathe easier because I just love being surrounded by books.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? Absent-minded (because my mind is often somewhere besides on what I'm doing unless I'm doing something intellectual), over-analyzing, procrastination with things like chores, quite shy in some situations, not very good at math. I like working with words, not numbers.
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: The ability to stand in the face of fear or difficulty, especially to a degree which you previously thought yourself incapable of.
Loyalty: Showing yourself to be worthy of trust.
Intelligence: The measurement of a person's ability to learn.
Ambition: The drive that pushes you to strive for your goals even through adversity.
