Ok, i had answered the old application but hadn't put it in yet, now i see there is a brand new application!! D'oh! i hope you will take this one even though there is a new one now??

  If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
  
  If I could change anything, I would make it so that every country in
  the world would be a democracy, in which all of the people, regardless
  of their religion, gender, ethnic group or economic level would be able
  to safely and freely vote to control their governments and take part in
  their society. To me, the worst thing in the world is the violation of
  human rights and to have countries where certain groups are oppressed
  by dictators or violent regimes. That way, all of the countries could
  have governments that would be the most likely to protect and help
  their citizens, to promote justice, law and order in a fair and
  responsible way, and to be able to communicate and work with all of the
  other countries in the world to stop things like hunger, poverty,
  disease, environmental destruction, abuse of the weak, and wars.
  
  
• What makes a person respectable?
  
  A respectable person is a person who takes care of themself, their
  family, friends, and is helpful, kind and generous to other people who
  may not have as much as they do. A respectable person is honorable,
  honest and trustworthy, dependable, works hard and helps others around
  him/her. A respectable person would never deliberately hurt or deceive
  others, steal or cheat other people in any way, and would be a
  productive member of society that improves the world around them in
  some way, and never wastes things that other people don't have or that
  there is not enough of, like resources. A respectable person is not
  materialistic and cares only about what is right and good, instead of
  what they themselves enjoy or would like to be able to do.
  
  
• What do you look for in a friend?
  
  The very most important thing to me in a friend is loyalty. I can not
  tolerate people who are superficial, shallow friends and who will not
  help you out in times of need, who lie or gossip or make trouble behind
  your back. I would do anything for my friends and I would expect them
  to do the same. I like people with the same interests as myself who are
  nice and happy and fun to be around, who will make me a happier and
  better person by their example, and who are never bossy, sarcastic,
  condescending or conceited.
  
  
• What are your hobbies?
  
  My main hobby is sewing, I love to make pretty dresses and things that
  people will like. I also love watching and memorizing movies (usually
  science fiction or historical fiction because I love other time
  periods), dancing at clubs, traveling, hiking with my dog, camping,
  sightseeing or going to new places on adventures. I also love anything
  exciting like amusement parks with roller coasters. I love kung fu but
  not any other sports. I don't read anything except for Harry Potter
  books..
  
  
• Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
  
  i absolutely do and I really, really wish that I could do more. I used
  to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and an animal preserve, and I am
  in driveforlife, a group that drives dogs and cats from pounds to new
  homes across the country. I donate to peta, the red cross, amnesty
  international, and an exotic animal shelter in ohio, as well as to
  religious things. unfortunately I don't have any more money so I have
  to put it on hold. I don't give anything to those organizations that
  feed hungry children, even though I feel horrible about it, because I
  am afraid that they just take all the money for themselves. I would
  love to travel around the world volunteering to help people or animals
  if I could. I would be in Cahuita, Costa Rica, living in a hut on the
  beach protecting tiny endangered sea turtles right now but I cant get
  anyone to watch my dog (i got her from the chow chow rescue) for that
  long (i'm working on it!) I absolutely can not bear to throw anything
  away that I think someone might be able to use, I give everything away
  to the Goodwill or if i'm' at a restaurant I give my leftovers to a
  homeless person.
  
  
• What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
  
  I would like to travel around the whole world and see all of the
  beautiful and amazing natural and man-made treasures that it has to
  offer. I don't feel any kind of burning desire to really accomplish
  anything, I would just like to be a good person who has had interesting
  experiences and maybe improve the world somehow, by helping people or
  animals where I can.
  
  
• Who is your role model?
  
  Well, I never really had one personally, like a relative or anything,
  so this is hard for me to answer. I guess the best kind of person in
  the world is someone like Angelina Jolie, who makes a lot of money and
  then gives it away to charity, and works to promote peace and human
  rights and adopts poor little children. I am inspired by people who
  dedicate their lives to greater causes than themselves, such as
  spiritual people who help others or those who fight for animal rights.
  
  
• What trait most annoys you about other people?
  
  I don't like shallow people who don't think of anything except for
  themselves and walk around through life thinking that the world
  revolves around them and what they want to do. Like people who are
  obsessed with their appearance, or buying and showing off expensive
  things, or sex, or anything that is really meaningless and temporary
  nonsense. I also hate people who are hypocritical or two-faced, but
  those are usually the same people.
  
  
• What do you want to do for a living?
  
  I really don't know right now. I used to do computer stuff but sitting
  alone never talking to anyone and thinking too much was terrible for
  me. Right now I am making pretty clothes for people, I like the thought
  that someone somewhere is happy because of something I made for them.
  Ultimately I would love to do something like work at a zoo, just
  something were I could be active and outdoors and do something hands-on
  to make a difference or help animals. the thing that I would like most
  is to be an FBI agent or homicide detective because I love the law and
  police and think that there is nothing more honorable than risking your
  own life to protect innocent people (especially women & children) from
  criminals like serial killers. but physically I am just not cut out for
  that.. *sigh*
  
  
• If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the
  magic world) beast), what would you do?
  
  I would defend them to the best of my ability if it were a person. If
  it were an animal, I would try not to hurt it and just stun it and run
  away or something, but if it were a person I would definetly fight
  them.
  
  
• Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
  
  I can not see myself ever using one to control another person's mind or
  force them to do anything, that seems really sick to me and i'm not
  that kind of person. I would try my best to use a lesser spell if
  someone was attacking myself, my family or one of my friends to stop
  them, but if it were a life and death situation, in which an evil
  person was about to kill an innocent person and there was no other way
  to get out of it, then I would have to use a spell like Avada kedavra
  to stop them.
  
  
• What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
  
  1. I am very passionate about causes that I believe in. i'm not the
  kind of person who won't have an opinion about something or who just
  ignores something they don't agree with. I will always speak up if
  something wrong is going on. alot of times I will be in the minority
  about something I believe in but that doesn't change me.
  
  2. I am really strong and independent and perseverent. I don't need
  anyone (like a guy) to take care of me and even though alot of bad
  things happen to me sometimes, I just keep on trucking!
  
  3. I am very generous and like to give things to people. I love making
  things for people, or cooking for them, or helping them do something.
  if someone is my friend, I share everything that I have with them and
  my house is their house!
  
  4. I am extremely down to earth and practical. I hate to waste money
  and would never buy anything if I could make it myself. I hate anything
  that is fancy or trendy or expensive or merely a display of social
  status, like fur, fancy cars, brand name clothes, diamonds, gold, or
  ipods. I say make do or do without!
  
  5.people say that I am imaginative and silly and creative. I am always
  trying to think of something new to do or get people together for a
  party or adventure and just have fun. I am adventurous and excited to
  try things out and i'm never a boring party pooper who just wants to
  sit around doing nothing.
  LOL I don't know, writing about my bad qualities was easy, writing
  about good ones is really really hard for me! I hope I have some,
  anyway!
  
  
• What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst
  qualities?
  
  1. Probably the worst thing about me is that i'm very emotional, very
  jealous and have a bad temper. if I think that someone I care about has
  betrayed me, I will respond with full force and do the worst things I
  can think of to them to get revenge. I never forgive anyone for
  anything and don't accept apologies and hold grudges for years.
  
  2. I'm extremely lazy. I don't like to do anything if I could talk
  someone else into doing it for me or put it off until I get out of it
  somehow. I don't have any of the kind of feeling that other people seem
  to have to want to prove things to themself that they can do things. I
  mean, if I am the only one around and I have to do something, I will,
  but for example, when I was in school, even though I am really smart I
  did everything at the last minute, lied to the teacher about why I
  didnt' have it and needed an extension, and cheated on tests even
  though I knew the answers or could have if I bothered to study.
  
  3. I am extremely messy, unorganized, forgetful, and absentminded. I
  lose everything that I own and have never been on time to anything in
  my life. people lie to me about what time i'm supposed to be somewhere
  because I am always late, and they don't lend me things because I will
  always lose them somehow.
  
  4. I constantly make very rash and impulsive decisions without thinking
  about them beforehand. I never look before I leap, and I will run off
  and do any silly thing without thinking of the responsibilities I have
  or the consequences. I personally think this makes for some funny
  stories a couple years later, but people who know me think that it is a
  very bad trait.
  
  5. I am kind of a morbid person who gets antisocial sometimes and just
  wants to be angry at everyone and stay in the house alone, even though
  that makes me unhappy. I have kind of a negative outlook on things in
  general and it gets the best of me sometimes and I can be gloomy and
  brooding.
