  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
Ooh...I've actually never thought about this before, which is very unlike me. Nothing to do with money, because I can be a disaster with that...something with organization, I'd like. I'd like a job that's really complex, and challenges the mind. Perhaps an Auror...though I'm much too easily scared for such a big job. Probably a jinx-breaker or a teacher at Hogwarts would be nice.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
TRANSFIGURATION! and not just because McGonagall is my hero. Really, I like it because it needs intense concentration and it's very hard...but in the end, the powers you gain by studying it totally pay off. Plus, I'd love to knock my students socks off my turning my desk into a llama or something.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? Hrm...I'd really have to think about it. Because as much as money and eternal glory appeal to me...I don't really want to die. Or risk my life in any way. So...after much debate, I'd probably enter anyway, and just hope the Goblet notices that I'm a wimp and doesn't select my name.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
Being a bird would be super handy since you can fly, but I always wondered...does your mind adapt to the mind of the animal when you become it? Because if so, I would not like a bird's brain. What if you forgot to change back and ended up flying somewhere and not knowing how you go there? So a cat is a better choice, because you don't have the risk of waking up in Haiti, and being like "whoa!" and you also have above average intelligence, and can land on your feet!

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Luna Lovegood or Lupin...I'm rather weird like Luna, and am usually a bit of the odd-one out in groups, but I love reading and have extreme loyalty towards my friends. In my group of friends, I'm more of the one to hang back instead of pranking people..I respect authority and would have been a Prefect were I at Hogwarts. (My letter just got delayed, I swear!)

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
BOOKS BOOKS EVERYWHERE! Because I think the thing that I desire most is a story that caters to whatever I'm thinking about. So many times I'll be reading fanfiction, or a novel itself, and just be like "I could write something better than this." But the problem is, it's not so much fun to read something you've written yourself. You know how it ends...but I'd love just a big book, that never ends! Or tons of books on every subject in the world...lotsa dictionaries, with every word in the world in them!!!

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I'd give a bit to charities, just because I'd be a jerk not to. But then I'd go to the best college in England, tour Europe and learn to speak French, and buy the most beautiful set of the Lord of the Rings books I could find. Oh yeah, and buy my parents a maid so my mom wouldn't have to clean so much.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
I wanted to be a forensic pathologist as a kid. For some reason, cutting dead bodies open and studying them sounded really cool to me. That changed because I realized dead bodies smell. Now I'm going to be a college professor, and teach English of course! It still requires a happy amount of school (as in, I think you need a PhD...which I am willing to work for) but I don't have to spend so much money as to become a MD. No sense in graduating and entering the world with tons of debt for all the schooling. Plus, no dead bodies.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
Well, I know time turners have already been invented...but I'd create a spell that's basically like speed (though I am NOT endorsing drugs here...so it would be without all the nasty side effects and illegal-ness of drugs) but it'd give you extra hours in your day so you could get all your studying, reading, chess-playing, whatever you need, done in a day. Because I am so sick of running out of time. This makes more for you! I'd call it..."Tempus Pario" (meaning "Create Time" in Latin) and it would be a potion. It just makes sense as a potion, doesn't it?

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? Probably failure. I hate failing at anything. Or worms. I hate worms. They are just so slimy and smell repulsive. It freaks me out. I'd turn the worms into gummy worms...not as scary. And...as for failure...I don't know. I think that one would get the better of me. Hmm...Riddikulus would make it a 100% on a test!!!

  • What do you look for in a friend? I can befriend just about anybody, no matter how obnoxious or self-centered they are...really I'm just content with friends. But my closest friends I'm much more picky about...I like them to be kind, funny (cause I'm not good at making jokes), and can help me relax, because I am a worry-wart to the extreme.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people? I HATE it when people think they're smarter than me. That's terrible, isn't it? Because I'm sure there are people out there who are smarter than me. I just don't like it when people act like that. Surely if you have the intelligence, you must know how annoying it is to brag about it? But then again, I've always thought intelligence makes people blind, so they can just be obnoxious about it. Ironically, I typically find myself thinking about how smarter I am than other people...so perhaps I'm being a hypocrite.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? I'm intelligent, I have a way with words...and I love words and being able to express myself. I can imagine anything...create stories and such out of the blue, and I want to learn EVERYTHING!

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? I don't take care of myself (not sleeping/eating enough...just too busy), I can be WAY to over-confident in my abilities at times, I fall in love ridiculously easily, I worry more than is healthy of grades, school, anything, and I can't walk outside during rainy days because of all the worms.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage:
Compassion, love, sticking up for something even if you might lose everything, just because it's what's right.
    • Loyalty:
Standing by someone/thing because you love it to death and would do anything for it.
    • Intelligence:
Cleverness. Being able to think in any situation. One of the best gifts in the world. Learning fast and wanting to learn.
    • Ambition:
The key that drives you to anything, and everything. Without it, you fail.

  • Name: Allie!
  • Age: 15 (almost sixteen...so 15 3/4 really!)
  • Where did you find out about us? My friend IMed me about it.
