  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
I think I'd either be a Healer or an Auror. It might seem pretty ambitious but these are the jobs that I think I'll definitely love. A Healer because first of all, my greatest dream is to become a doctor. I'd love to be a Healer so that I could help people and such. I think its just so cool to heal people by just using your wand and some potions. Plus, Healers don't do surgery and that's my greatest fear in being a doctor. I don't like cutting up parts off my patient. But I'm willing to face this fear in real life anyway.
An Auror because I'm not the type of person that loves to stay indoors and do the same thing everyday. I'm the type of person who enjoys being in the outdoors and doing some activities. I think being an Auror offers a sense of freedom and responsibility. And the job itself sounds very exciting. I like to go about protecting people because it gives you a feeling of superiority. People look up to Aurors.
  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
I would love to teach Transfiguration. I like the idea of transfiguring things into animals or vice versa. I like teaching this subject because it seems so challenging and you get to use your wand a lot unlike Divination or Potions. I think the students are interested with this subject just as much as they are interested in DADA but the only problem is the teacher and the pressure the teacher puts on them. I just think it would be so cool to teach this subject because it involves advanced magic.
I'd also love to teach Charms because its useful. The things you learn in Charms can be used for everyday activities. I like the feeling of passing on some of my knowledge about the use of magic outside the school to the students.
  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
I think I might not be interested at first but if many people would join in, I'd probably join in too. I'm always like that. I don't rush into things when I think that there will be hard consequences later on. But if I see many people joining in, I'll feel a great sense of security that gives me enough courage to join. And I'll be joining just for the fun of it. Not because of what's at stake.
  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
I think my animagus form will be a cat just like McGonaggal's. That's because of all the animals, I like cats the best. I find them so adorable even with their attitude that makes you feel that you are below them and they are superior. No kidding. Cats tend to do that to you. Anyway, a cat, because they are such graceful creatures and they have a tendency to scare people and other animals just by simply hissing and arching their backs. I think its a good defense. And being a cat means that you could go walk around without really being heard. And if ever you'll fall, you'll always land on your feet.
  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
That would be Fred and George Weasley. They always look on the bright side of life and they don't take everything seriously. They always put a smile on people's faces even if the times are hard. They are frank, happy-go-lucky and are true to themselves. They don't care about what people think of them and they are extremely loyal to the ones they love although sometimes they don't really show it. They turn any dull situation into an amusing one and are just plain amazing. They are smart in their own way.
Now, I'm not claiming that I'm just like them. I don't have the ability to make people laugh during tough situations and I most definitely do not like to pull pranks on people. But I see myself in these two. I am very optimistic and I love to make other people laugh or just smile. I consider myself as a happy-go-lucky and frank person. I hate awkward silences, dull moments and just plain boring conversations. I live to liven things up. And it could get pretty annoying.
  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
I would see myself all grown up and successful. I see myself holding a book that inspired hundreds and was written by me. I also see myself in different countries learning about other people's culture and speaking their different languages. I see myself with my family and I have a twin sister by my side. And I also see my grandparents in my father's side (though I haven't really seen them because they died early) smiling at me. I also see myself in the U.N building making a difference.
Yeah, it fit in the mirror.
  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I've been asked this question for a million times already and my answer would always be...
I would first make my parents' lives comfortable and that also goes for my relatives. I would donate probably 20% of my money to organizations that help in the preservation of wildlife and things of the like. I would also donate 10% of that million dollars to charity and another 10% of my money to hospitals that obviously need better facilities. The money left will be deposited in a bank. As you can probably see, I won't be spending much of the money on me. Well, before I spend it I will first wait for it to increase in amount when its in the bank and I would treat myself little by little. I don't want to rush as I might be regretting my actions later on.
  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
My ideal job when I was a kid was to be a saleslady or a cashier. Why? Because I loved their uniforms but then I discovered that there's not much future in that career. Now, it has changed. Today, I want to be a doctor because it pays a lot and you get to meets different kinds of people. I don't care if its a demanding, tiring, gruesome and boring job. Being a doctor is something that I'll always want to be. And I must reach that goal.
  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
I don't know if there's already one but I'd like to invent a potion that could make anyone who drinks it fly. And by fly I don't mean just floating in mid-air for a few minutes and that's it. The potion will really make you fly like Superman for probably a couple of hours, depending on you. I would like to use it whenever I feel pressured and I just want to relax and free myself from all problems. I kind of have this notion that when you're flying, you feel free and relaxed and that effect will still linger even if the potion has worn off. There will be no side effects although it would probably be expensive because we can't have flying people all over the world, can we? Anyway, I'd name it Volatilis Illic Admiratio Potion. Volatillad Potion for short.
  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
I'd probably see the people I care and love hurt or dead. If there's one thing I fear the most, its losing someone I love. I know it would hurt so much and I don't want to feel that. I know I would just be depressed for the rest of my life when that happens. I don't like the feeling of emptiness.
When I say the counter-spell, I'd probably see my classmate. My really funny classmate. And my classmate would do that dance that would always set me off laughing until my sides hurt. Its the dance she dances during our Christian Life Formation class.
  • What do you look for in a friend?
I have lots of friends. And when I try to sit down and observe them I always see one common characteristic in them and that's loyalty. Sure I like my friends to be funny and to make me smile whenever I'm down but I like a friend who will always defend me no matter what. I could never handle betrayal because it hurts so much. Aside from loyalty, I want my friend to be a good listener and a great conversationalist. I talk a lot and I want someone who can put up with that and can also share his or her opinions on any matter. I also like a friend who can tell that I really need a shoulder to cry on or can give me a slap on my face when I'm just being a sour grape. Well, not really a slap but a really good talk. And I like a friend who is not afraid to speak her or his mind out. All my friends are frank so there is really no danger for gossips or rumors that could break our bond.
  • What trait most annoys you about other people?
That would definitely be laziness. I just can't stand people who are lazy. I know that I could sometimes be pretty lazy but I get really annoyed with people who just don't work for the better. It really annoys me when someone is just sitting around doing nothing while everyone else is working and striving hard to achieve something. I also have this crazy idea that lazy people are the people who cheat. I can't stand it when lazy people just nudge your elbow in the middle of an exam and would ask for your answers casually as if they were asking how the weather was. And it annoys me when they complain about having low grades or not achieving something.
  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
I am an independent person. I don't burden other people with my problems and I prefer working alone so that I wouldn't bother the people around me. I don't depend on others when I'm in a tight spot and that's what made me the strong person that I am now. I'm not a loner or anything but I enjoy my own company. I feel assured that everything will be done right.
I am very passionate. In the things that I do, I do it with all the effort and energy I have. I concentrate in what I do and that usually yields satisfying results. I work with all that I have and if mistakes ever came up, I usually have no regrets because I know I worked hard of it. I value my work a lot.
I am very observant. This is actually a weird trait because I don't usually ponder over things. But yes, I like to observe everything around me. I take everything in and this comes as an advantage because by observing, you are able to understand what is happening around you. This gives me answers to questions.
I am an optimistic person. I like to see the world as something that's getting better everyday. I always look on the bright side of life. Being optimistic actually helped me to make it through problems. Being optimistic actually opens the mind to millions of possibilities. You see something in a different light and that makes you a strong person. I could be very annoying sometimes with my optimism.
I am very friendly. I don't like to shut myself from the world. I socialize when I can and I want to meet more people. In gatherings wherein all the faces are unfamiliar, I gather my courage and approach any person I feel like approaching. I find it easy to be comfortable around strangers and I easily open up myself to them. Example, if I'm in a party, by the end of that party almost everyone in the room knows about my life and history.
  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
I can say that I am very selfish. I can also associate that with being very possessive. I think too much of myself and don't mind others. Sometimes, when I share, it does not come from my heart and I feel bad about it. I'm always having second thoughts. But my conscience usually takes over. I can't help but feel irritated when I see someone with my things even if they asked permission properly.
I am also tactless. I say things without thinking, thus, I hurt other people. Usually, I won't know it and if I did, of course I'd feel bad about it. The only thing is, I can't stop being tactless. I can also be brutally frank. This comes from being so talkative that you would talk about anything just for the sake of talking. I ask forgiveness from the person I hurt, of course.
I am very impatient. I want things to be done right away and would grow frustrated if things are being taken too slow. My impatience has also put me in a lot of tight spots. I try my best to control it but I'm not doing a very good job. Because of this, I get angry easily and would snap at anyone who talks to me. The thing here is, I could not wait without getting angry at someone. But with counseling, I am now able to control this trait. But there are really times when I just couldn't wait.
I'm very vain. I could not help being vain because I grew up with people who are vain. Vanity has always been something that made a few people say I'm conceited. Vanity tends to make you think about yourself and yourself alone. I admire myself too much and it gets on people's nerves. Plus, whenever I see a mirror, I rush to it and admire myself first before moving on.
I am a perfectionist. The only good way is my way. Its the best way and nothing else. If there is something wrong with the picture, I consider at as something that can't be accepted. Yes, I take mistakes lightly. But that only happens when I make that mistake. When other people make mistakes, I rant and rant for that person to make things right.
  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage: Yes, its bravery. But courage for me is standing your ground. Standing up for what you think is right. It is when you are not afraid to be your own person no matter how everyone else is changing. Its is also when you are not afraid to take risks.
    • Loyalty: Loyalty is sticking up to what you believe in. And never betraying anyone who trusts you. It is being totally devoted to a certain cause.
    • Intelligence: Doesn't really have to mean knowing things from books or such. It means that you are aware of everything around you and you think things over and analyze the causes and consequences of a certain situation. It is when you could focus on one thing and not mess things up.
    • Ambition: Is what keeps a person going. Its a long-term goal and could be associated with inspiration. It drives a person to reach for more and achieve.
