- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
I think I would love to be a teacher. I have recently decided to major in education, and think that if it was possible to teach at a school like Hogwarts - it would be about ten times better :D As for why; I love kids, and I love teaching. It's just something that comes somewhat natural to me. I love watching kids learn, it's such an amazing thing. I think I would be quite attached to those ickle firsties =D
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
Hmmm.. good question. I think I would be the happiest teaching either Charms or DADA. Most likely Charms, because I see it as the most useful. I would love to be able to just make things happen. As for DADA, I see it as the most exciting and interesting class. As long as it wasn't Divination (I see it as the equivalent as Philosophy for some reason...and I hated my Philosophy class. To me it seems hokey and unnecessary. Would much rather do Arithmancy, as it seems to have set rules - like math!) or Potions (it reminds me of cooking, and I hate cooking. Having to add the right thing at the right time and stir it the right way... Why use a potion if you can use a charm?) !!!
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
I think it's something I want to do, and daydream about, but in the end - I think I would rather watch. I would hate to be singled out and have everybody in my House depending upon me. Too much pressure and all. Don't get me wrong, I would go it, but I would rather be part of the group that cheers on the Champion. Or maybe I'm just a bit of a coward *shrugs*
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
If I could choose... it would be a tiger. Why? It all goes back to when I was a child, and watched Aladdin one to many times! However, I do think my animagus would actually be some sort of cat. A much smaller one :D I had a conversation about this with a friend, and all agreed that I am most like a kitten/young cat. Small, loves to get in trouble, and ready to explore the world - just doesn't have all the athletic ability and gracefulness yet! I have good balance, not no grace...go figure. I am pretty stealthy though *grins mischievously*
- What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Maybe a mix of Ginny and Hermione. (weird combo, I know). I am book smart, I love school and love to learn. I usually have an analytical mind...unless my temper button has been pushed. Once I get to know somebody, I've been told I'm a bit of a handful. I've recently have begun to shed my shy-skin. I am one of those girls that is like every guy's little sister. I love being with a group of people (but not the center of attention), having fun, and most importantly, laughing. I have my shy bookworm moments, and I have my "let's randomly run the rain while playing tag cause I impulsively feel like it" moments. I'm a bit of a contradiction. Does that make me Luna then? I do have my fantastical moments... Uh oh.
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
A family. My family is a bit broken up, and that makes me sad. Also I want nothing more then to find "my fish in the sea" to love and be loved (I know I know - cheesy), and have a family with. A bowl of icecream also sounds good too *is hungry*
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I would have my one selfish gift (I could finally get a car...or in the wizarding world; a decent broom!). I wouldn't need to buy a big house, but I would want to get something where I didn't have to worrry.. just something small and cozy! I would put the rest away, and save it for school and for when my family or close friends needed help =D
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
Honestly? I wanted to be a kick-butt princess ninja. After that, I wanted to be a CIA agent. In the very back of my mind, I always knew I would end up a teacher. Ideally, I would own the school, but still teach a class. It was fun to dream though... *imagines self in princess jasmine outfit, kicking butt as a spy* *blushes*
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
Something to make you temporarily invisible (without a cloak). It appeals to my stealthy/mischievous side. *imagines all the trouble she could get into* I don't know what I would call it. Ummm...the hide-and-seek charm no.. invisi-stealth-o-sneak Oh, I don't know. I need a while to think of something snarky or catchy... OR something that could take a memory, and turn it into a piece of art. That would be fun too.
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
Most likely myself, old and alone. Or a zombie/creepy killler. Riddikulus for the first one? I dunno. As for the second... the zombie/creepy killer would get scared of a cute little kitten *awws* that pops up and licks it's paw, or tilts it head to the side, or something equally adorable.
- What do you look for in a friend?
Trust. Someone to share things with. Loyalty. Someone who will stick with you thru the good and bad. Also, someone I can have fun with, no matter what the circumstances. AND play on the swings with! Obviously I would want to have things in common with this person.
- What trait most annoys you about other people?
Stupidity. I can be very impatient with someone I find to be a bit stupid. Also, I hate people who are pompous, or full of themselves. Bite that, they need to get over themselves! Oh yeah, bad drivers, people who make fun of others, and sarcasm that's not funny or particularly witty. I am sarcastic quite a bit, but not to be blatantly mean!!
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
In no particular order:
1. I'm impulsive - which can make for fun and interesting times
2. I'm brave in the way that I'm not afraid to try things...not in the hero with a sword way, or being chased by an ax-murderer way!
3. Good at listening
4. Sense of humor/mischievous streak - I'm honestly a kid at heart. This is why I wanna work with kids =D
5. Artistic - not in the great work of art, but I have an eye for color, and what works. I love to create things. I will admit - I do a mean stickman!
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
1. I can be very impatient (and also, my impulsiveness is also a weakness - it gets me into trouble)
2. Intolerant of things I don't care for (that probably makes me a bit of a hypocrite..)
3. Low self esteem
4. Guilt complex - I tend to blame myself for too many things. It's stupid really, but sometimes I'm illogical like that.
5. Trust (I trust the wrong people too easily, and push away those that I should)
