  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? In all honesty, I can’t see myself as anything but an entertainer, and that would apply to the wizarding world as well. I’d be a singer. Maybe a comic. I love knowing that I’m helping people forget their problems and the outside world, even if it’s only for a little while. Being the center of attention isn’t exactly low on my list of reasons either.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why? Flying. How awesome would it be to teach this class? Basically you teach two classes a week. Gryffindor/Slytherin first years, and Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff first years. That’s IT. Oh, and you coach a few Quidditch matches. What a horrible job. ANYWAY, on top of that, I’d love to fly. There’s just something about the idea of feeling weightless and completely free of the ties that bind you. And knowing that you’re getting paid, along with free food and housing, for doing practically nothing.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? Yes. Without a second thought. Think of all the amazing things you’d get to do. Not to mention the perks of getting out of final exams. Besides, if I didn’t do it, I know I’d regret it later.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? Something normal like a house cat or a pet dog. Mainly because I’d be using my animagus form to either spy on people or get away from them. And no one’s going to see a giraffe coming down main street and NOT find it suspicious.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why? Probably Luna. Yep. My roommate is even sitting here beside me agreeing. I’m the type of person who comes off as being stupid most of the time, but if you ever call me stupid I will come out with this completely random factoid or quote and HIT YOU IN THE FACE WITH SNARK. And I’ve always been the one to come up with the wildest theories, and then actually gone to study up on it to see if it was actually possible. I’m not afraid to stand out in a crowd or stand up for my beliefs, and I don’t let the prejudice of others get in my way. I’m likely to be friends with anyone, despite their race, religion, social status or what have you.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? Though I’d really like to see myself with a fully paid college tuition and a brand new bassoon, I’m more or less happy with the way things are right now. There’s nothing I would truly call my “heart’s desire”. I suppose you could say I’d see money, because I truly need it but, in all honesty, I’d be just as happy living on the streets as a bohemian. Maybe my heart’s desire is subconscious and I’d know what it is when I saw it?

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? Well, as was mentioned in the other question, roughly 185,000 would go to paying for my college up to my masters, roughly ten to fifteen thousand for a bassoon, then more would possibly go to my doctorate, so say about 250,000. I’d throw 150,000 in the bank for me to get a nice apartment in New York and have enough to live on for a good amount of time if I were ever, for any reason, to lose my job. The rest would probably go to charity. I’ve never pictured myself living it up as one of the “rich and famous”. And honestly, I’d rather not do so.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? Well, I wanted to be a nurse for a while, then I realized I was terrified of blood. Then I wanted to be an astronaut, but then I read about the challenger exploding and THAT was certainly out. I’ve gone through a series of different things I wanted to be, even as recently as ninth grade, I wanted to be a lawyer, switched to being a makeup artist, then to a chemist. Now I want nothing more than to entertain, singing or playing in front of an audience.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? This is an easy one, as I did it a year or so ago. Oratio. Causes one to burst out into song at even the slightest mention of a song. For example, you’re walking down the hall, and you hear Jimmy say “I think I’ll try...”, you’d jump into “Defying Gravity”. In other words, you’d be a walking musical for a day. It can be used to embarrass your friends, yourself, or for the simple purpose to entertain others.

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? A zombie, more than likely. I have an irrational fear of dead bodies, graveyards and the like. A reanimated dead body? Would make, not only baby Jesus, but ME cry as well. In all honesty, I’d probably make it tap dance to “Puttin’ on the Ritz”, simply because nothing can make a zombie funnier than a Young Frankenstein reference.

  • What do you look for in a friend? More than anything, they have to have a quirky sense of humor. I’m the type of person who laughs at everything; silly puns, stupid parts of movies, a video of someone slipping on a banana peel...ANYTHING. If you can’t find the hilarity of everyday events, then you will not get along with me. At all.

They also have to be able to take criticism, because I am honest to a fault. If I don’t like you, you know it. I’m not going to pretend to be your friend, then talk about you behind your back, because that’s catty and stupid. If I’m nice to you, you know I like you. If not? GTFO. I’m also the type to tell you if your hair looks awful or if that dress makes you fat, because I know if I were going to go out looking like that, I’d want someone to stop me before I make a fool out of myself, so I give that same respect to others. So just as I’m honest to everyone else, I’d expect my friend to be honest to me.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people? This really was explained in the above question. Maybe I should learn to read ahead before I answer questions that are asked later. Basically, I can’t stand people who look for the bad in everything, and I hate people who are petty and dishonest.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? Gah! I hate talking about what I’m good at. It makes me feel conceited! Thanks guys.

    1. Music of any variety. Actually, any sort of entertainment. I’m good at being the center of attention.
    2. Making people feel better about themselves. I’m the type of person who, even if I didn’t know you, I’d give you a hug if you looked upset about something. I just can’t stand to see others upset.
    3. Apparently, as everyone comes to me for it, advice.
    4. I have this innate ability to know when someone is in love or “in love”, and who with. I’ve always had this intuition, and I don’t know where it came from. Honestly, several of my friends have seen this first hand, and ask me how I do it. I have no idea. It just happens. Ask me who likes me though? Couldn’t even begin to guess. I’m so bad at seeing things for myself.
    5. I can make people laugh no matter what the situation. Whether it is making a fool out of myself or just saying something random, people are almost always laughing around me. As a matter of fact, I’ve been known to make a fool out of myself strictly to make someone laugh.

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? Now this is much easier. Haha!

    1. I’m a little too trusting, to be honest. I can’t help giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, and I frequently get burned because of it
    2. I’m also a bit of a cynic, which sounds weird compared with the above weakness. Although I believe everyone has good in them, I also realize that, because of this, everyone has bad in them.
    3. I overreact. SO MUCH. The smallest things can set me off and throw me into a tantrum of fury, or make me ridiculously giddy and excited.
    4. I basically have the memory span of a goldfish. Someone will tell me that I said or did something an hour or so before, and I will already have forgotten it.
    5. I’m an underachiever like you wouldn’t believe, but I’m not entirely sure if that’s a bad thing or not. I don’t do as much as I should, but I’m not as stressed out as others. I’m more laid back because of this weakness.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage: Contrary to popular belief, courage is not the lack of fear, but being willing to do things even though you’re horrified. Lack of fear is bravado.
    • Loyalty: The willingness to do absolutely anything for the people you love, even die for them.
    • Intelligence: Intelligence is being well studied; well read. Intelligence does not necessarily equate wisdom, and there are many highly intelligent people out there that lack common sense.
    • Ambition: Setting goals and achieving them. The need to push yourself up the social ladder; to be the best.
