- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
- Probably a sort of wizarding psychiatrist. Imagine the hundreds of witches who need someone to talk to with all that's happening and whatnot. The muggle's mind is already so immensely complicated but how about the wizards? With all their added knowledge, history and culture, they must have so many to share and need help with. Or an artist, oh I could imagine the art I could do with magic. I could paint a scene so intense and elaborate with only a few strokes. But, that would really defeat the purpose of actual art that you have to work hard for, right? So, I'll stay with being a wizarding psychiatrist. :)
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
- I'd love to do Defense against the Dark Arts, of course. At least teaching it doesn't put me in any obvious danger, not like an auror, yet I can still teach students about Dark creatures, spells and etc. DADA seems like the obvious choice for a lot of people due to it having elements of darkness which they connect with a "forbidden" subject ( that all of us love, of course ;D ) but I choose DADA because it is the only subject where you learn how to live with yourself. Everyone loves the dark side of themselves even though many would never admit it. And with that side, we need some prodding on how to contain it. It brings out a certain sense of power to be able to teach students how to defend themselves against those forces because everyone contains even just a little bit of it inside them. You're basically learning how to fight yourself, and hopefully, win.
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
- No, I'm a terrible coward, really. I'm afraid of blood, heights, knives, death, basically anything that could hurt me. I can't imagine going against dragons, a huge lake or any of the stuff the 4 Champions go through. I'm the type of person who likes to work in the background yet, without them, there would be no show. The kind of people who do the decorations, promotions and etc. that every event needs yet is so very underrated. I'd rather make an impact in the shadows than get embarrassed in front of the whole school.
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
- An eagle. Powerful, able to fly, something I've always wanted to be. Eagles are associated as the "king" of the birds and I think I've always nurtured a secret feeling to always be the leader when it comes to activities and such. In school though, people automatically assign me that post because of the perceived "intelligence" they constantly tell me that I have and I'm a teensy bit ashamed to say that I've gotten used to the fact that they always choose me and... I like it. :D
- What HP character do you identify with most and why?
- Luna Lovegood. She's weird and doesn't care that she is. I love her for that. :D I'm a hundred percent "abnormal" yet I'm very confused as to why people think I'm like every single one of them. I don't do everything my peers do yet they all connect with me like I'm the same. My parent's tell me it's because of my easy going nature but I'm not that sure. I don't discriminate, look down upon or hate anybody so I think they feel no need to do any of those to me. I'm also superstitious and gullible when it comes to... well, everything. ;) I easily believe the news going around me that I tend to forget that one contradicts the other. Really silly of me, actually.
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
- A castle full of gold and gadgets, probably. I absolutely love techie stuff. Anything new, expensive or connected with technology in any way, I do my best to snatch up and own. I usually sell them after 5 months or so because... Well, I need the money to buy new gadgets and I get tired of stuff easily. One of my more irritating traits, really. The gold, I could really use; both for good and for bad, of course. I love to spend money on myself, as almost everyone does but I love it more when I see my sibling's faces when I surprise them with anything. It could be a toy I picked up, some chips, even a carton of juice, they jump up and down a lot due to the surprise than the item itself, actually. :D
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
- Please see above answer. :) I might save about half of it then blow the rest up in a day. I usually spend stuff slowly, like a set amount for a day then another for the next, etc. So the idea of spending a lot in just one day excites me a teeny bit. I'm known to be a bit impulsive but not to that extent, of course. The half, I'd save, invest and start a business with. I don't want to see the money that I so luckily won just go down the drain in one quick swoop. It'd feel so much happier to see the money I've won grow into two, maybe even five million dollars someday. I'd love to be able to see the looks on my parent's faces though, when they see that I've won a million dollars. That would be enough to last me three lifetimes.
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
- As a kid, I really wanted to be a lawyer and put all those bad guys in jail. :) Now though, I think it's all pointless, most of the guys in jail are innocent anyway, mostly due to corrupt lawyers being hired by the "higher-up" criminals and such. I'd love to be a psychiatrist now. The prospect of interacting with people having different "issues" makes me all giddy and excited. I love observing people. Their habits, body language, speech patterns, everything. Seeing the little differences with each one satisfies me to no end. I see them type a certain way, speak in a specific tone and speed, it makes me content.
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
- An instant hair-fixer. I hate it when my hair poofs up when it's hot and stuff. 'Nuff said.
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
- It would definitely turn into the Grim Reaper or something connected with death.Maybe a big pick axe, a shotgun aimed straight at me or a knife at my throat. But the Grim Reaper would definitely be scary enough. And then it's robe would fall off and it'll be in a blood-red bikini. I don't know if that's funny or disturbing, quite frankly.
- What do you look for in a friend?
- Someone who'll constantly be / talk to me without my having to prod them for attention. I've always been the one who they go to when they need help but when they don't need it... They're gone. I admit that I've always wanted people who look up to me or need my help constantly because, as the eldest child in the family, I've always been looked at as a leader for my siblings and an assistant to my parents. I've been used to that fact so having a lot of friends who have a very strong, commanding personality makes me feel a bit awkward but fortunately, I adapted easily enough.
- What trait most annoys you about other people?
- People who have absolutely no sense of humour. I'm a bit of a sarcastic person sometimes and I don't like people who can't put up with it. Most of the people I talk to are very patient and laugh much too easily, too hard so everythings just fine right now. I dread the day when I meet someone who thinks much too much and laughs so very little. *shivers*
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
- Good listener, I listen to anything a person says. I don't care if we're talking about your computer hanging on you or why this cloud looks like Lucius' pimp cane, I'll listen to it. Bad thing is, though, I'll most likely forget about it after a week or two, if it isn't significant in my memory or anything.
- Lefty. I just had to put that in. :) Being a lefty makes me feel different, even in just a little way. That little difference though, makes me so very happy and proud of myself.
- I care about everything (too much, actually), I don't like it when my mom throws garbage out the car door. I hate it when I see some classmates tease another who, very unluckily, made the choice to wear a see-through purple jacket. Anything concerned with emotions makes me so vulnerable and sensitive that I don't know which feeling to go through first.
- Curious; I ask, research and speculate about anything that interests me. This makes me feel secure and less sure that I'm going to seriously embarrass myself.
- Respectful; anyone older than me, I call them "aunt" or "uncle" or ate / kuya (which means "big sis" and "big bro" respectively in Tagalog). I don't like calling older people by their first names alone because I feel they deserve more and that I should give them the respect I want shown to me when I'm older.
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
- My non-existent memory. I can't remember anything when I really need to, it's so irritating! I have to carry around this little notebook with everything I need to do at the right time. The only problem is, I keep on forgetting to read the notebook! Argh!
- Sarcastic. I can't help it really. The sarcastic remarks and replies just fly out of my mouth. Better add "tactless" to the list too. I really don't know why I do it, it doesn't make me happy or anything. Maybe it's a hereditary thing.
- Procrastinator. Well, this is mostly due to my memory but majority of the times this happens is because I see something that I want to do more than what I was presently doing. Like chasing bubbles instead of typing this answer... ooh!
- Tactless. There, I've added it. I care a lot about what other people feel like but when I'm irritated or just not in the mood, my mouth goes BANG and shots are fired everywhere. From the way my brother's hair looks like a braindead owl to the color of the non-existent pillow on my sister's lap, I can't help myself. Sorry.
- Doubtful of myself. Oh, this should truly be number one. I doubt anything and everything that I do. I think I constantly suck at things I've been practicing since I was 5! Like playing the piano, writing essays, doing graphics, even walking a certain way makes me think "oh, I really should change this, I'm not any good."
