EDITED slightly
I can't believe some of you think it's too short - it took me two hours to think of all this self indulgent tripe :P I'm really not comfortable talking about myself but I elaborated as much as I could. If you still can't sort me, that's fine, just know I tried my best!
- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? If I can't pick a career for myself in the real world what chance do I have in picking one for the wizarding world? I'm not driven in the slightest, so it'd be a career where I couldn't go any higher. Maybe something like a wand or broom maker? Nothing too important but challenging enough so I wouldn't get bored.
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why? I would teach Care of Magical Creatures because I adore animals. I'd probably spend most of the day with the animals rather than the other staff members, animals are infinitely more interesting than people. I guess I'd enjoy teaching the kids the marvels of the animal kingdom. I wouldn't mind teaching Potions either. Ever since I was a child I've enjoyed mixing and creating various concoctions. Did you know that if you mix a few (normally safe) bathroom products, you can actually create something that burns the skin? I found that one out the hard way. Still, the creating-it part was fun.
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? No way, I definitely don't have enough guts to participate. I have very little desire for glory and admittedly I probably look down on those who do desire it. You don't need to defeat a dragon, dodge scary mermaids or go head to head with a Sphinx to prove you're special. Also, I know I'd lose if I entered, so why disappoint myself?
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? I'd be a horse. They're big enough to defend themselves but they can also run (away) really fast. Plus, they always look so happy when they frolic around in their fields, I'd love to be able to run full pelt just for the fun of it.
- What HP character do you identify with most and why? Ron Weasley. If he put his mind to it he could do really well but he's lazy and would rather have a good time. He's got a sarcastic sense of humour but he's very loyal and cares deeply for his friends. He's also got a wonderful, close knit family (except for, you know, that git Percy).
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? Myself and my partner living in a nice house surrounded by animals. I think that's what I'd need to be truly happy.
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? I'd buy a nice house and car and gets lots of dogs. You can never have too many dogs. I'd keep enough to keep me comfortable for a while but the rest I'd give to my family (although I'd have to pay off my Mum's credit card bills for her, she hates doing that) and various animal charities.
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? I always wanted to be a paleontologist because I adored dinosaurs could name them all when I was 3 or 4. That changed when I realised I'd have to lay in the dirt in the hot sun all day. My ideal job now would have something to do with animals that didn't involve me seeing them injured or abused (I can't even watch shows about animal rescue because I cry).
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? I'd create a potion that would let you wake up in a happy mood. I am the biggest witch of a morning and I feel so guilty about it. The way it would work would be that you'd take it the night before and when you woke up you'd be so happy you'd feel like bursting into song or dancing around your bedroom. I would call it the Good Morning Draught.
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? My greatest fear is death, so I'd see myself about to be cremated. Wow, how do you come back from that? Alright, I'd yell Riddikulus and the flames would turn into water being splashed on me while I was sunbaking.
- What do you look for in a friend? Someone who is loyal above all else. I feel loyalty is my best trait, so I want my friends to value it as much as I do. Someone who can put up with my mood swings and who can make me laugh. People who are open with their feelings are very appealing as friends as well. Also, someone who has an open mind and doesn't judge others.
- What trait most annoys you about other people? Rudeness. I absolutely hate it when people don't use their nice words (can you tell I'm a nanny?). It is not difficult to say please or thank you, it really isn't. It won't kill you wait until I have finished talking before you voice your opinion - people who interupt you when you're speaking are the worst. Your opinion is not so important that you can't wait five more seconds!
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
I'm very loyal - I stand by my family and friends through thick and thin. I'll defend you even if it means I'm put in a difficult position and you can always count on me for anything. I'd be the most awesome-est secret-keeper EVAH! I'm a very caring person too. If you need someone to talk to all night, I'll be there for every second. Which runs into my third quality - I'm a great listener when my friends need me. Truthfully, I'd rather listen than dish advice, but I find that once people talk out their problem they tend to solve it themselves. My fourth top ability is the knack of being able to read people. It's fairly easy to tell when someone is upset when you're face to face but I can tell when someone is mad or upset even on MSN, just by a slight change in their typing. Lastly (it stems from the previous one but I have run out of good things to say about myself), I'm excellent at spotting a lie. Although I'll never usually call you on it, unless I dislike you.
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? Firstly, I procrastinate. For example right now I'm finding everything I can to do besides go to bed and I'm going to regret it because I'm working 15 hours tomorrow and I need all the sleep I can get (10 hours lets me function properly). As of right now I have to be up in 5 hours. Another terrible quality of mine is jealously. I can't help it - I'm a Scorpio! My third worst quality is laziness. I'm too lazy to type why, heh! I hold terrible grudges too. If you upset me when I was 4 I'm still going to hold it over you now. I'm pretty forgiving but I defnitely never forget. Lastly, I get bored very quickly and stop listening. Often times when I'm listening to something that's important, like what days I have work next week, I completely zone out because it's boring. Then I find myself in a pickle later because I needed that information!
- Define in your own words the following key traits:
- Courage: Knowing that while you're terrified or sure you'll fail at something, you'll still go in and do your best at that something.
- Loyalty: Standing up for someone even if it's at your own peril.
- Intelligence: I've always said intelligence can be defined by how much you understand. You can read as much as you like, if you don't understand what you're reading, it doesn't count for intelligence.
- Ambition: Being driven to succeed in anything you want to succeed at.
