- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? I'd either want to do something with divination or teaching...maybe even both. Divination because I just feel this draw to divination methods. I can't really explain it but it helps me feel that the world is connected to the universe in some way. Teaching because I love children and I'd love to be able to teach them something I'm very passionate about. It'd be nice to be able to guide young ones and help them become who they're meant to be.
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why? Well, obviously my previous answer tells you it'd be divination! Again, because I feel a calling to it and it helps me feel the world is connected to the universe, like we're not the only thing out there. It humbles us. I think as kids grow up, they tend to think they're the only ones and the universe revolves around them. It'd be cool to show them divination and that we can only divine because the universe is a much bigger place than only our world. Divination is also very much misunderstood so it'd be great to change those misconceptions.
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? Probably not, I'm not much for grueling physical activity just to show off how brave I am. It really just doesn't appeal to me to show the world I can do something like that contest. I don't see much point in it beyond getting a bit of glory, which...eh..I guess is sort of appealing but...not enough so to convince me to join and try.
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? I'd like to say something useful here but...no. I'd be a bunny. One reason would be because its sort of become my nickname because I associate with bunnies. They're small like me...I'm very short. They're fluffy and cuddly, though I'm not fluffy but I'm the sort of fluffy and cuddly personality. I'm calm most of the time and patient and though I can't sit still, I can stay in one place until someone does something that really causes me to react then I bounce off feverantly like a scared bunny.
- What HP character do you identify with most and why? Sirius Black. I identify with his home life in a way. My parents weren't loving and I've always felt disconnected from them in many ways. I'm not like the rest of my family in the way that Sirius is a Gryffindor and the rest of his family was not. I've always had the same sort of joking personality that's hardly serious. I'm calm in the face of danger mostly...taunting sometimes because I don't realize the danger I'm really in and I tend to be overconfident. Like Sirius, my friends are the most important things there are to me. I can put up with someone hurting me and remain calm because not much effects me but when you mess with my friends, there will be hell to pay. It is the one thing that really springs me into action, that and people treating others badly in general.
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? Mmm I'd see me married and with a few children around me. Either they'd be adopted, foster children or children I'm teaching. Family is very important to me, probably because my family growing up was never close. I'd love to be surrounded by children and able to make them happy.
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? I'd buy a house...selfish, I know. I'd probably give at least a portion to charity though I'm not sure which but for the most part I'd spend it on a huge house.
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? My ideal job as a kid was an actress because everyone wants to be famous! Its changed because I was never told it was okay to 'just be a wife and mother' and was pushed to get a 'real job'. I'd love to be a mother, honestly. But, if I had to choose a job outside the home, I think it'd be a children's entertainer or a soap opera star. I know...big difference. With a children's entertainer, its because I love children and love exploring my own childlike side. I'm very much like a child most of the time and jumping around and singing to entertain children just seems rewarding and appealing to me. Being a soap star interests me because it explores emotions. I'm a strong believer in embracing emotions and exploring them and being a soap star gives me a chance to do that, besides being crazy fun. I think it has to be one crazy job with all the storylines they've got going on American soaps.
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? This is a very tough question. If it were not illegal to use love potions, I'd create one that showed you the truth of the matter. It would use merfolk oil, unicorn mane, frozen ashwinder eggs and mallowsweet. Merfolk oil for consistency, unicorn mane for the pure properties of love, frozen ashwinder eggs because they're used in most love potions and mallowsweet because it helps with divination and revealing truths. You would consume the potion yourself and if someone had romantic feelings for you, the potion would reveal it in a dream. The reason for the mallowsweet is that the truth is revealed in a dream, much like some forms of divination. The potion, however, would be imperfect because you would not know if it was caused by the potion or if you simply had a dream.
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? Fire. I'm terrified of fire and I think I was probably burned as a witch in a past life or something. Irony that I say this while applying to Hogwarts, ne? It just immobilizes me in fear. I'm not sure how fire could be amusing but I think it'd turn into something cute and fluffy. A puppy that licks people like flames lick. Only a puppy is adorable and makes you laugh. <3
- What do you look for in a friend? Friendship. This sounds stupid but...I don't look for one quality, there are a few things that make a friend. You have to like each other first off, otherwise...what kind of friendship is that. Yeah, we all have ups and downs but friends, in the end...always come back. I look for the ability to be able to talk to someone for them to be my friend, there aren't many people I can't talk to though. Most important what I look for is that they're there for you and you for them. No matter what. They have faith in you, trust you. They know you have faults but so do they and they accept them. When you're being an annoying twit, they patiently...or not so patiently wait for you to realize it and accept your apology. They might be mad, they might feel they hate you but they accept it when you say you're sorry because they love you.
- What trait most annoys you about other people? Falseness. I have a huge issue with people who pretend to be other things. If you're vicious and like to hurt people, be honest about it. I have much less of an issue with someone who likes to hurt people than someone who likes to hurt people but lies about it. Stab someone in the chest, not in the back. Let everyone know who you are and don't tell us something different.
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
1. Patience. I never, ever thought I'd say that but...when it comes to people, which is how i judge myself...my relation to others, patience is one of my best qualities. I'm now able to accept just about anyone, even those I strongly disagree with and be patient with them.
2. Optimism. I love that I'm extremely optimistic. I can look at just about anything and find the good...or at least, the not so bad in it. This goes for people as well and I love that I see good in everyone. I can share this with others and I hope I spread at least some of it and help people be happy.
3. Stubbornness. Yes, I find this a good quality! When I believe in something or have made a choice, absolutely NOTHING on Earth could stop me from believing or change my mind. Many, many have tried. And many have failed. It just isn't going to happen. Which makes me good with kids, because they can't get out of trouble by batting their eyes. I guess this is why its so hard to get rid of me, once I've decided you're my friend nothing will get rid of me.
4. Enthusiasm. I'm very passionate...I do just about everything 120%. When I like someone, I'm very affectionate, I'm very obvious. I just give my all to everything I like. I'm hyper and outgoing and usually very bubbly.
5. Creativity. I love to write and draw/paint. I'm a role player and just love to use the left brain. I guess this helps with being with kids, I come up with fun projects and I can randomly break out in song and dance for them. It makes life more enjoyable to be able to just let go and do something fun.
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
1. Impulsiveness. I don't stop to think most of the time, it leads to a lot of clumsiness and just all around bad things. I say things without stopping to think or I don't consider that something might hurt someone. Its not that I don't care because I take it hard if i do hurt someone but...I don't stop and think hey maybe it would hurt them better shut up.
2. Vanity. I spend a lot of time on make-up, beauty products, my hair and clothes. Its not that I care what other people think but I want to be the best I can...for myself.
3. Gluttony. I like things. I'm a spender and its very hard to stop me from spending. I see things I want wherever I go, even if I shouldn't buy it.
4. Maturity. I'm very childlike and sometimes that comes out in the fact that I can be immature. I'll stick my tongue out when mad or not want to do something grown up that I really should. It has kept me back sometimes but we all have faults and that's mine.
5. Irresponsibility. I tend to take on things and never complete them because I get distracted. Its not that I don't want to do them, just other things come up that make me forget. Even if its something I really wanted to do...like watch my favorite show, I can forget because I'm distracted.
