- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
It'd be a toss up between a healer or a teacher. I'd enjoy being a healer because it seems like a very rewarding profession of compassion and intelligence, two things that I think would be an honor to work for. Being a teacher sounds fun and influential, also rewarding. I'm not sure I could choose so easily.. I think, because my current occupation is being a nurse, I'd be more inclined to choose teacher because its a different sort of opportunity. But working at Hogwarts is just an opportunity in itself, isn't it? So yes, teacher!
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
That would be a very difficult choice between Astronomy and Potions. I am very much interested in Astronomy and space as a whole, so it would be a very gratifying subject to teach. Classes in the Astronomy tower at night, looking at stars and constellations, it would be quite nice, I think. Different. And potions because I think it'd be interesting to brew potions and antidotes and learning things like that. In the end though, I think I'd still stick with Astronomy ;)
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
I think I would, but only out of curiosity because I wouldn't feel confident that I would be chosen, or at the very least, good at all. But it would be a very one of a kind experience that I'm sure I wouldn't be able to resist, nevertheless. The idea is the best part, eh? Or.. maybe its that pretty cup that some people want.. pfffft.
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
Some sort of feline, I think. Large or small. Graceful and sleek, I think that would be very cool.
- What HP character do you identify with most and why?
This is a very tricky question, because I feel like there are certain things about a few characters I could relate to. The two that stick out the most to me are Ronald Weasley and Luna Lovegood. Ron because I care lots about my friends and family, have lots of relatives that I am constantly being compared to, being young I was subjected to jokes about my family's low income, having to wear hand-me-downs and sometimes rather odd clothes. I only slightly relate to Luna, because she is an extraordinary character herself, but I've been told that I always have a look on my face like I'm not all there, and I tend to get a bit odd when I feel like it. I find it hard to make friends easily because I've been told I was a bit eccentric, and sometimes too open-minded, I found in school that I wasn't interested in what most of the girls were (I spent more of my time sorting through my skittles than putting on makeup..) Oh! But I think I could manage to believe in quite a few things that would otherwise be known as absurd. yes, yes.
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
I think the deepest desires of my heart are very vague. If I think about it, I would only wish to be happy -- but I do not think that I am wise enough to know exactly what will make me happy, it can change depending on how I change as a person, and how the world changes around me. I would like to see myself happy, and the people that I care about healthy and happy, as well. That is good enough for me.
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I think I'd invest lots of it first, and then I would try not to waste it. That is a lost cause however, because I am sure that the first thing I would do is buy mountains of gifts for people and food for myself, because it sounds nice, and I like food! The rest I'd just keep safe, cause you never know when you might need it.
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
I wanted to be a painter, I think. I have since then taken many art classes and I do paint, but I've realized there's other things I also want to do, so it has just become a hobby of mine. Since then I have really wanted to work with airplanes, but sadly, that hasn't happened.
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
I wouldnt mind inventing a spell that I could use whenever I lost my train of thought. Or is there already something of that nature already? I'm sure there must be something similar.. but really, its so bothersome when you are thinking about something and then you want to talk about it and you forget.. and you try and try to remember.. eek. It drives me nutters.
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
A ladybug.. sadly. I am frightened of the scary spotted devils. They fly right at you with the clumsiest nature and its.. eeekrgsplat. If I counter spelled it, I would like it to turn into a butterfly.. surely.
- What do you look for in a friend?
That they like and accept me for who I am. Similar interests are never bad, either. I dont need them to call me constantly or act a certain way, just so long as we understand each other, and we can be ourselves around each other. I think that is the root of all great friendships.
- What trait most annoys you about other people?
Well, people are people, but I must say I get a little irksome when some are very close-minded, or horribly judgmental. I dont really agree with those sort of things.. then again, I am sure I have traits that annoy others.. ahhh, besides the point.
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
-I'm very sympathetic to a fault. I've been told this is my best and worst trait, in a sense. I am a mother to a toddler and I tell you, saying no to such a cute, chubby little face could never be more difficult. And I have had the habit of picking up animals that are lost, half of them are strays I have to keep.. I just cant stand seeing them so scared.. and dead animals on the side of the road.. oh it makes me bawl. Sometimes. I sound like such a pansy.
-I am very easygoing. I am rarely annoyed or lose my temper. This is best demonstrated in a busy street when my grandma is sitting in the passenger seat screaming about traffic lights and bobberknickers. Crazy witch.
-I am extremely loyal. My friends are family, my loved ones I cherish most above all else, and that doesn't change. This has both given me lifelong friends and lifelong heartbreak. Ouchhhh.
-I'm pretty ambitious, mostly because I know that many things in life require ambition, including my future, if I wish it to be what I want it to be. I will admit though, I am not very ambitious at 7am with no coffee. In fact, I might be called a troll. Might.
-I am always humored. Life make me chortle, nonstop. There are times to be serious, but thankfully, those are few and far between ;) Or, so it seems. Hopefully.
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
-I am super paranoid. My mind is always playing tricks on me and often times I fall for it. I always hold my breath over bridges and by graveyards (dont ask why.. I never met anyone else that held their breath by graveyards.. I hope someone else does..) and I have to close all of my closet doors because closets freak me out. Sometimes I will think that people are out to get me, but thats the time when my friends call me absurd.
-I've been told I am too passive, that I just let things happen instead of going for it. I dont wholly agree with this, but I do believe that I can be that way sometimes. I suppose part of the reason is because I can be too unsure of myself.
-I can become too emotional, sometimes. And its horrible, I hate it. I am totally working on that, though. My face is set to stone.
-I can be horribly indecisive about what I want. I can like something one moment, and not like it anymore the next. That usually only includes clothes and other small things, though. Rarely have I chosen a dog and said, nahhh, dont want this anymore, I want a cat! And then throw the dog out and buy a cat. And when I say rarely, I mean never.
-I have no more weaknesses I'm a bit cheeky. I can never resist having the last word or giving my dry humor a test drive, and sometimes I do not need to be taken seriously.
