Hello!

  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? Most likely History Of Magic Professor at Hogwarts. I would choose this profession because of my avid interest in History and my desire to teach. I love the past, learning about chains of events and dates and the people who shaped our world. I imagine I'd try and make it as interesting to the students as I can, with lively, animated lectures that would help the students learn the importance of historical impact...more so than Professor Binns ever did, anyway!
  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why? See above.
  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? I would not. I wouldnt like having all eyes on me, cause I'd fear I'd make a goof of myself in front of everyone and never live it down; I really dont like being the center of attention unless it's to get a laugh. I wouldnt try something like that even if it meant fame and glory, I'd rather watch and enjoy the Tournament from afar.
  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? If I could choose my Animagus form, I would pick a Peregrine Falcon. They are the fastest moving creatures on earth and I'd like that alot as I'm a little impatient, especially when it comes to travelling. They also look so elegant, graceful and beautiful; It'd be a nice change from my gangly, clumsy human form.
  • What HP character do you identify with most and why? Probably Neville. I'm pretty unorganized, a little clumsy, I'm very good at what I'm most interested in like he is (he excels in herbology but maybe not so good at potions, like I get straight A's in History but have failed out of too many math classes)As he gets older he becomes more confident, brave and strong, which I can relate to very much; in high school I was so very awkward, but once I grew a little and tried out college, I adapted so well. I also love that he stood up to his friends, which is something I struggle with sometimes (I can be somewhat of a doormat often).
  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? That's very private...but I guess I'm obligated to share as much as I can...I'd probably see myself traveling in a foreign land with a great love (that isnt unrequited for once) and no more insecurities or financial worries.
  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? Settling up any of my bills, pay for the rest of school, pay off my mum and dad's mortgage. Maybe buy myself a new computer if I can manage it. I'd have to put aside whatever is left in some sort of account I cant touch until I'm a certain age. I'm terrible at budgeting and I'm sure I'd blow that kind of money far too quickly.
  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was growing up, I always watched fashion television and doodled dress designs in a little notebook. Then I learned photography from my dad and now I'd like to be a photojournalist or a photography historian/archivist. Wanting to be a photographer makes me feel uneasy, though because it seems like these days everyone wants to do that. It makes me feel so unorginal and bland. Trying to be unique is very important to me, which is why the archivist job sounds great; it combines two of my favorite things into something I would feel good doing.
  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? I would make a charm that could automatically cheer up anyone, if they're feeling super-down or grumpy, and I'll call it "hilarulus." Sort of like the "Riddikulus" charm but for more for people's moods rather then their fears.
  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? My Boggart would be a giant centipede, I'm not usually afraid of bugs (spiders, ants, worms, flies dont bother me a tick) but for some reason, centipedes have always made my skin crawl and I hate that they can climb up walls. After throwing the counter-spell, it would turn into a member of Monty Python's Flying Circus dressed as a woman delivering a monologue.
  • What do you look for in a friend? The ability to laugh at and with me, an open mind, strong imagination, but someone who can also call me on my bullcrap. I've always gotten along best with people who can laugh, dont take themselves or anything else too seriously, but know how to be solemn when they need to be. I always appreciate it when a friend tells me I'm being unreasonable or stupid when I get carried away with goofiness.
  • What trait most annoys you about other people? Laziness: Why would you sit on the couch and watch tv or be out of shape and unhealthy when you could be out doing a million other things, like seeing the world or swimming and feeling great?! There's nothing that irritates me more than someone who complains about something and doesnt try to do something about it. It seems like lazy people tend to do this alot.
  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? 1. Keen eye for art-I've been told by alot of people that I've got a good eye and I'm great at composing. 2. Punctual-Always five minutes early. I cant tolerate being late and I hate it when others stand me up or are late. 3. Excellent swimmer-An hours worth of laps at night, never miss a day. 4. Master of all crossword puzzles-At least Monday thru Thursday; I love etymology. 5. Energetic-Sometimes my friends say I have the energy of an eight year old: I dont stop until it's absolutely necessary.
  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? 1. clumsy-I've never gotten used to my long legs. I'm always dropping things or bumping into people. 2. Stubborn-I believe what I believe and no one can convince me otherwise. 3. Absent-minded-I'm always forgetting or misplacing things...What were we talking about? 4. Loud-This probably has something to do with my ears being plugged up which may have something to do with my balance, causing me to be klutzy. 5. Definable lack of tact-So honest, I cant humour people no matter how hard I try. I'll tell you what I think before I think about the consequences.
  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage: If someone is courageous, they're able to recognize what they're afraid of and how to get over it.
    • Loyalty: Loyalty entails someone sticking with what they believe in, no turning back. If someone is "unloyal" I'd also consider them a hypocrite or liar.
    • Intelligence: Intelligence isnt limited to testing or bookishness. A smart person shows their intelligence by how they act and how they convey their beliefs or opinions.
    • Ambition: The ambitious do whatever they can to get what they want, as long as it doesn't require the sacrifice of loyalty or the harm of their loved ones.
  • Name: Krystle
