  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
From what's been said in the books, I'd like to be an Auror, but I'm not sure I'd be good at that because one has to be good at so many things for being an Auror. Besides, I'd probably be too much of a coward to do it. Since I've had to ask this question in a meme a few days ago, I then thought about another profession I'd choose, and the only thing that came to my mind was being a teacher, because I love working with people, especially with children, and I like to explain things to people, even if I have to do it again and again in different ways so as to make everyone understand. So I'd be a teacher at Hogwards.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
I'd like to teach Transfiguration, because I'd love to disguise as or become someone or something else. Another thing I'd like to teach would be charms, because it implies using words (as opposed to quantities as used in Potions or numbers in Arithmancy and History of Magic) and I'm good with words.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
I guess I'd want to put my name in, but right before doing it, I'd chicken out again, because I'm not really brave enough to sign up for something when I have no idea what will come next. I'd support my friends, though, if they put their names in it, by doing research on anything they need or doing whatever it takes to get them to win.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
Probably a wolf, because I've loved them for ages. They are strong, proud and beautiful, and I wouldn't have to be afraid of anything as a wolf. Another thing about them is that they're fast, which means I could run and hide if I ever needed some time alone.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Umm... That's a hard question. I don't really identify with anyone, I guess I'm a blend of several characters. Neville, because I'm sometimes just as clumsy as he is. Hermione, because I can be as ambitious as she is (doesn't happen often, though). Ron, because I'm often just as pathetic as he is. ;) But most of all I probably identify with Luna because she's so naive and cute. And she often says stupid things, which I do a lot, too.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
Maybe my family, as it should be. I've had many problems with my family, many personal issues. I don't get along with my parents well. So I'd see them, us, as a real family, and my boyfriend, of course, because I couldn't live without him. And all of us healthy and happy, just like it should be.

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I'd save most of it for my future (to buy a house later, probably), donate some, and spent a thousand dollars on a nice trip with my boyfriend somewhere, maybe to Africa because I've wanted to go there (to Kenya or South Africa) for years to see lions, elephants and all those wonderful landscapes.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
As a child I wanted to become a vet, like all the girls my age back then. But that changed when I started growing up. I wanted to be a medical doctor for years then, because as mentioned before, I love working with people, and I wanted to help them, maybe even find a cure for cancer and AIDS. But my father always said that studying medicine basically was a waste of time and that I'd never make it. Even though I always stood up against him because of him never supporting my ideas, I soon believed it, too, and looked for alternatives. I've always been good at languages (mother tongue: German; in school: English, French, Latin; leisure time: Italian, maybe Spanish soon), so I thought about working for the Foreign Ministry or becoming a journalist. Then I met my best friend who wanted to become a doctor, too, and we decided we'd do it no matter what. We soon found out we weren't good enough at school, though, and we'd have to wait several years. I turned back to the languages then, since I've always wanted to work in many different countries and would have no problem with moving every four years like you have to when working for the Foreign Ministry. And then I met my boyfriend, half a year ago, and everything changed. Suddenly, I don't have that urge anymore. I don't want to move anymore. Maybe, one day, to New Zealand or Canada or something, but only once, not every four years. So I'm a bit at a loss at what to do after school, which I'll have finished by next spring. I might do the journalism thing, or become a writer, if I can. Or a teacher, teaching English and German. And I'd love to study English Literature, but I don't know what I'd do with it once I'm done with the studies, especially not here in Germany...

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
It would be a charm to make people happy. I'd use it on my friends and family, and on myself, too. And on everybody else who wants to. Just to be successful or rich or healthy or whatever it takes the person to be happy. I'd call it something like "Laetitia" which simply means "happyness" in Latin. But I'm not very creative tonight, so please excuse the lameness of that.

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
I'd turn into a spider, definitely. I've been afraid of them since I was a child, and I still am horrified every time I see one. I can't move and have to call my dad so he'll kill it. Using Riddikulus, it'd just vanish, if that's possible. Or maybe... I don't really know a way to make a spider look funny. But I'd for sure laugh if it were gone. ^^

  • What do you look for in a friend?
I look for people who have the same or at least similiar interests that I have. I look for people who are I can trust and who support me and love me no matter what, maybe because I never got that from my family. They have to be funny, or at least don't take everything too seriously, because I'm really sarcastic at times and wouldn't want to hurt them with that. I like to be around people who have ideas on how to change the world, even if those ideas are impossible to put into action. I love to discuss everything, from teachers' behaviours to the most recent political events, and I can spent hours doing that. Most people I'm friends with are a bit outgoing and socialise a lot, which is very important to me. I have very few friends, but those I have, I can rely on no matter what, which is the most important thing, in my opinion. I've sort of taken to the wrong people in the past, though, people I couldn't rely on who in the end double crossed me. Ever since then, I've become more careful about getting close to new people.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people?
No offence intended, but I don't like all those girls (and often guys, too) who pretend to be someone they're not, by wearing almost nothing and putting on so much make-up they can barely be recognised as humans anymore. In my opinion, everybody should behave like their true self and just be natural.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
I'm very trustworthy and loyal. My friends now they can confide in me with everything, and they often do. I'm always there for them, even in the middle of the night, and I speak my mind about their problems. When I think they're exaggerating or fussing about something that isn't half as bad after all, I tell them, but I tell them in a nice way.
I'm (almost) always friendly, even towards people I can't stand at all. I don't care enough about those people to strain myself to behave unfriendly or impolite towards them. It takes a lot to get me really upset.
I'm funny. At least that's what my friends say. ^^ I don't often agree about that because I consider my sense of humor to be quite stupid, but they don't, so I'm content with that.
I'm a huge optimist. I've been through a lot, especially the whole family thing, and I've kept my cheerfulness, which has helped me through bad times.
I'm rather good at reasoning, or at least I think I am.

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
I'm very lazy at times. Sometimes I can't bring myself to do my homework or tidy up my room. But usually that doesn't last too long.
I'm way too sensitive. The tiniest incident can make me cry. I really have to get rid of that sensitivity, but I'm kind of struggling with that.
I tend to get messy. My room sometimes looks as if a bomb exploded there. But it was worse a few years ago, when I was younger.
I'm very complicated. My past kind of haunts me and I can't escape, but I try my best to hide it, which makes me very withdrawn at times. I have a hard time really opening up to people and if I do, they have to deal with what happened in my past, and that can get very complicated.
I'm stubborn as hell. I respect other's opinions but it's very, very hard to convince me of anything I don't believe in or like. That's why I sometimes fight with my best friend or slightly quarrel with my boyfriend.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage: Courage is when someone stands up for what they believe in and fights for it no matter what. It also means being willing to go through hell for your friends and family, the people you love and care about.
    • Loyalty: Loyalty is being there for your friends and sticking with them, no matter what they do. It's comforting them when there are problems and speaking your mind when they've done something wrong. It's letting them copy results in school, it's lying for them if they as you to.
    • Intelligence: Intelligence is a dangerous thing. If you're intelligent, you either become a very good or a very bad person.
    • Ambition: For me, ambition is pursuing your dreams and wishes if you have the possibility to, and doing whatever it takes to get there. Nothing illegal, though, apart from maybe cheating a bit during exams and things like that. No murder etc, though.

  • Name: Isabella, but everyone just calls me Isa
  • Age: 18 (finally! *g*)
