If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
I'm not sure whether to be realistic here or not - so I won't be. heh. If I could change one thing about the world it would be to change our respect for the earth we're living on. We're destroying it so carelessly that soon all the natural beauty that we should be celebrating and revering will be gone, and it will all be down to us.
Of course, I'd also like Bush to be impeached (hehe) and for the world's media to stop misleading us for the sake of "dramatic" journalism. But that's just me. ;)
What makes a person respectable?
I think if a person knows their own mind and is comfortable in that then I could respect them. However, on the flip side, I don't think I respect people who are so close-minded that they're not willing to learn and grow within themselves. People who are truthful without being reckless with the truth are people I can respect, and people who are genuine.
People who teach are definitely to be respected, and so are people who take care of other people, because of the difference they are making in the world. I don't think a person's "level" (ie. in their job or whatever) should come in to how much you respect them, because that's relative. To be respected, they just have to be giving 100% at whatever level they're at, that's all that matters.
What do you look for in a friend?
Someone who is willing to accept me for who I am and doesn't try to change me. A friend has something special about them that makes me come back for more. I also look for honesty. I think a friend should be honest enough to give me their real opinion as opposed to what they think I want to hear.
Honesty is very important to me in a friendship, and it brings in trust too - I have to be able to trust my friends. I do, until' they break it, and THEN I lose it. ;P heh - just kidding. If someone does break my trust they may earn it back but it could take a while. I hurt easily. Friends should also feel they can talk to me and come to me, and vice versa.
What are your hobbies?
Ooh - lots. MUSIC (I couldn't live without it, it means everything to me) writing (especially journalling and writing personal poetry to document how I'm feeling at a certian time and any experiences I've had), photography (of inanimate things, not only people), READING (HP obviously, and also Poirot novels by Agatha Christie, Dan Brown books, John Grisham books).
I'm definitely into the more "academic" hobbies, as opposed to the sport-oriented ones. Oh, I can be competitive, without a doubt, but I always just preferred things like what I've mentioned above. Anything creative or anything that results in my learning something is interesting to me.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
Yes, and yes. Some of the best time's I've had were voulenteering in a walk-in centre for the elderly. We mad lots of tea and coffee, played lots of scrabble and had a wonderful time. I loved it, and would still go back if I were in the city. I think it's really important to support good causes. People seem to have an attitude of "oh, someone else'll do it" but that's not how it works. I believe every tiny little bit that people give and do make a difference.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
Hm - since this answer COULD be identical to the question below, I'm going to switch it up a bit. What I want to accomplish is to make a difference. In someone's life, in the world - whatever. If I've made just one life easier or happier, then mine will have been worthwhile. At least that's how I like to think, anyway. heh.
Who is your role model?
I have so many role models in my life, I'm really blessed. My Dad, definitely, is a wonderful role model for me - he works hard and did alot to instill that work ethic in myself and my sister, he knows how to make us feel loved and he gives us the stability we need (within reason). He does everything he can for his family and I think that in itself makes him an incredible role model. My friends are all role-models to me, because they all bring something unique and special to my life. My teachers are all role models.
What trait most annoys you about other people?
I think I'd have to say close-mindedness, and the ignorance that leads to. If you're close-minded, how can you expect to understand other people and be able to accept other cultures and situations? It's definitely not good for personal development. :P
What do you want to do for a living?
I want to work in a hospital in the area of clinical psychology. It's my way of helping people cope with their situations professionally, a field I'm really interesting and just basically my dream job. I thought about medicine for a while, but I decided that that required a lot of dedication, which I do have, but I feel the pressure of that job may have gotten to me.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
Everything I could to help them to safety, but with consideration of the attcker - like, if the attacker were a person I'd do my best to get my friend to safety with minimal force against the other person. After all, fighting fire with fire rarely works to anyone's advantage!
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
I think I probably would, in the gravest of circumstances. Not lightly, and not witout acknowledging the consequesnces, but after all else fails and as a last resort, yes I think I would (mentally) have the ability to.

Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: courage to me is not necessarily being "brave" the way some people think of it. I think to be courageous it also means taking responsibility for your actions when you've done wrong, and doing what you can in a situation EVEN IF you know you may not be successful. I think you can be scared and courageous at the same time.
Loyalty: to me, being loyal means staying by someone's side even when you know they're wrong. Not to be confused with being passive - I think you can be loyal to someone even if you think they're making the wrong decision. You tell them your opinion, and you stick by them anyway, no matter what.
Intelligence: this is more than just knowledge of facts... it's knowing your limits, taking your experiences into account and, if it's to do with a person, taking their feelings into consideration but still expressing the truth. Eh, that sounded mixed-up, I hope you can tell what I mean. heh. You can be knowledgeable without being intelligent, IMO.
Ambition: this is the drive to get whatever it is you are aiming for. If you have ambition you are willing to overcome any obstacles to get to your goal. You see the overall result and you want it enough to make every effort to get it - that's ambition (I think... heh).
