Ok so there's a faker out there who claims to be me. He uses the s/n "TXplatinumboy" on AIM and goes around IMing people telling them my full name and everything about me, but tries to say he's me. It's kinda scary. He has even photoshopped some of the salute's that I've made and made it say "TXplatinumboy". So if you see this guy online would you

My question is how he got your information in the first place? Identity theft is all too common these days; you have to be VERY careful with your personal information.

Best thing for anyone who isn't Ryan: Block his IM. If you can find out his ISP, send an e-mail to their abuse peeps. Let them take away his account or something. If you can track down HIS personal info, contact the authorities.

On another identity theft note, look out for camera phones, particularly when you're going to buy something with a credit card or use the ATM. Someone could be pretending to be on the phone but end up stealing your info and then using your account #.
