Thanx much for posting the link and report on the exhibition! I was getting ready to e-mail you and ask how it went. Glad you had a wonderful time, and lucky you, you got to see someone from the film, tho I had no idea he played the Witch King, too. Isn't the detail on the weapons, armor, and clothes amazing? I can only imagine that looking at the wax rendition of Boromir must've been like looking at the real thing.

What's the weather like up there in October? I'm thinking about running up there at that time to see it.

Anyhoo, thanx again for posting this and glad you had a great time.

Long live the scruffy men with swords! ;)

Hiya, Dawn!

Glad you liked my ramblings - I had such a great time that I wanted to write everything down get as many people to go tto this exhibit as possible!

The figure of Boromir looked real enough that, for one brief fanigirl moment I had the vision of kissing those cold lips and seeing if fairy tales really do come true.

Although I really don't fit the Prince Charming role very well...

*Roscoe The Plot Bunny holds up a sign that says "very well?!"

A-HEM...

As for Boston's weather...

We have a saying up here - "You don't like the weather, wait two minutes, it'll change." October can be cool and crisp and full of red and gold leaves. Or it can be damp and wet and grey and drippy. In other words, it's one big ol' crap shoot. But I wouldn't trade New England for anything.

Cheers,

LOL! Well glad to hear that you enjoyed it anyway. I prolly would've done the same thing if it was a certain Ranger gone rugged. ;)

You people have the same saying about weather that we do. Thanks for the heads up. I'll take October weather over August any day!

Cheers!

Wow, I hope that comes to San Diego someday! I'm afraid I'd spend a fortune in that gift shop.

The same sharp pains I felt every time I watched this noble man, this hero fall in the service of his friends.

I can't even watch that death scene anymore, it's so real. What magnificent acting.
