You didn't know this? There's a whole series of studies concerning female behaviour and ovulation. It includes changes in what they find physically attractive, changes in flirting behaviour, etc.
Now, it does have a hint of "looking for stereotypes we can confirm" about it, but it has also been consistent, and relatively mild. (No one argues for huge swings in behaviour, just nudges.)
It's the kind of thing that is interesting, but not too deep, in my opinion.
