I'll take the quiz and post results and all that another time in the near future. But I wanted to let you know that I was diagnosed with mono on Monday, so...especially if you haven't had it before...you may want to keep an eye out for that. It apparently takes about a month for symptoms to be noticeable, but...yeah. I hope you don't get it and I'm very sorry if I gave it to you.

ACK! I definitely shared that bottle with you. Bernie would like me to give you a dope-slap for this in response to all the dope-slappings you ever gave him, which I promptly virtually do: *dope-slap*. I'll get tested ASAP, thanks for the warning.

By the way, what made you get tested? I didn't see you having any symptoms of it when I was over.

Remember how my glands were swollen and I thought it was stress? Yeah...turns out it was the mono. Also, I wasn't going to get tested for mono, I was going to get tested for strep or possibly tonsillitis, and they tested for strep and mono. Said it wasn't strep, it was mono.

I'm not sure whether or not they can tell if you'll get it until I think it's 5-7 days after your start seeing symptoms....which is about a month after you're infected. Or something like that. Can't hurt to try and check now though.

Oh! And may your mono be mild! Good luck, dear :-(

I think when you think youthfulness, you think being carefree of the stuff that doesn't matter, not being jaded, and being optimistic. All those are aspects of wisdom. It's not like you want to be irresponsible and only do things that mean little. So yeah, I think you want to be an old, wise crone.

You're going to make such a funny old lady. My mind likes tangents and segways.

So, I took the quiz and it gave me a 3.5 wisdom.

I too have been called an "old soul" before, and I think it really does in part have something to do with the drive to help those around you. And the ability to instinctively understand other people. As if you've experienced more than you actually have.

I got a 4.1. I am also an adivsor to many people in my life, but I wonder-am I overeager to be one? I am also a very needy person, and I was abandoned one time too many during high school, which has left me with an inability to NOT be there for people, no matter who they are or whether they're as invested in me as I am in them. I can never just let someone be upset-I have to do everything in my power to make it better.
That being said, I also ask a lot of my friends-but I don't EXPECT a lot of them. I am not surprised when they give less to me than I give to them, perhaps because I feel I'm not worthy of their energy? I'm not sure. It's all very fucked up.
In any case, I apologize if I'm one of those people who seems overly eager to be an advisor to you or to anyone else-it's really because I care very deeply about my friends and have an abnormal degree of empathy.
*sigh*
