Your BIL needs to get over himself. Sleep is restorative and regenerative and downright good for you, and if you're sleeping that late (a) you're pretty darn lucky and (b) you probably need it. Loss of sleep is also cumulative, so if you're shorting yourself during the week your body will try and make it up when it can. My dad has sleep apnea, so I know way too much about this stuff. Enough so that I should sleep WAY more during the week than I do. I COUNT on getting extra sleep on Saturday mornings.

And despite my antipathy for all things Joss, I did enjoy the show Firefly. I have absolutely no desire to see the movie Serenity, aka The River Show. It's like a whole two hours of Fred/Willow/name-your-own-freakishly-thin-genius-waif-type.

I never saw even a single episode of the show, but the trailer seemed completely focused on the one character that I remember from "Waiting in the Wings", so if that's who you're talking about, then I'd say you're right.

And I don't get anywhere near enough sleep during the week, so there's that.

I want to see The Corpse Bride as well, it looks really good. I think it comes out on Thursday. I'm so into this movie that I even watched The Nightmare Before Christmas last night just to get the TB animation feel. On a totally different note, I really didn't like TNBC the first time I watched it but now, several years later, it was a really good flick. Go figure?!

As far as Serenity goes, I watched roughly half of the eps that aired on FOX but it never really held my interest. I didn't think it was all that and was not the least bit surprised that it got canned.

I have yet to be impressed with the promo's for Serenity, while, at the same time, I was just blown away for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe trailer that aired during LotR:TTT on The WB.

As far as your BiL goes, please. I'm a week shy of turning 30 and I love sleeping late on the weekends. Hell, I'll even take a nap on a Sunday afternoon if I'm in the mode.
