the eiffel tower, a funny looking metal thing that people find romantic.  something i ran down the steps of.  something i carved me and pj's name into with a little heart.  who is pj?  some guy i liked for a couple weeks.  lord

Nothing romantic happened to me, but I was too freaked out to go past the second level. On that trip, a friend asked another friend out [it was high school], which resulted in a notoriously lame and tragic relationship that made me look bad because I had pushed for my love-struck friend to make a move.

Oh, le Tour Eiffel. I miss you. I love how the French barely tolerate you. I wish I had spit off the side of you.

i'm pretty sure i spit off the side before i ran down all those fucking steps. running down the steps was probably the best thing i did in paris though. i didn't really like it much. although for some reason, the arc de triumph (spelling sucks i know) still pops into my dreams sometimes.

matt koepke made me and leslie and others walk down the entire tower and halfway down i couldn't feel my legs anymore and by the time we were done i felt like a champion.
