SHHHIT O.O that was my initial thought. the pic wouldnt even load properly for me cuz it was too big :P imagine eating that.. imagine cutting off and frying each tentacle nubble :D

i still don't really understand the pressure thing o_O but i guess it makes more sense having it expand as it comes up.. hence the whole gigantic-sea-monsters-surfacing-to-attack-ships tales

Wow! That is too cool. Giant isopods are really interesting too. They're found near Thailand and is considered a delicacy. The taste is suppose to resemble lobster, but they look like giant dust mites to me.

Forgot to add, i love sea creatures. Especially deep sea creatures. Some of them have such strange behaviors to help finding food, running away, finding mates, etc. I think it has something to do with the low bio density, lack of external influences, environmental stability, and long evolutionary history. Though i got no research to back it up lol.
