We are really very lucky! The tree outside of our house is huge... probably 75 yrs old, 100' tall. It has two main branches. One broke off today and travelled into our south neighbors porch and house south of them, into the front bedroom windows. Our house was pretty much untouched. It just wiped out the metal fench dividing us. It missed my bike ( Read more... )

It is a maple tree (of course)! I'd take a picture but no digital anymore... now that no one's hurt, etc... it is kinda awesome to see.
